I loved everything about this place. The food melted in your mouth. Everyone got something different and nobody complain.

“The Best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

What can you say about this place? Takes you back to another era. The prime rib is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. Salad spinning and cutting the meat at your table. The service was great and folks are friendly. I wish we had one closer!

“Not what I expected”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013 via mobile

Service was dreadfully slow even though the place was half empty on a Saturday night. Salad was presented in a steel bowl and spun over ice as the dressing was added. Didn't know whether to laugh or not. Didn't need a presentation for what turned out to be limp greens. Thirty minutes later a serving cart rolls out and we're asked what cut of meat we would like and how we like it cooked. I ordered medium well and my guest ordered medium but both cuts came off the same slab of meat in consecutive cuts; not from different parts. Both cuts were identical. Both cuts were more on the medium rare side. Meat came with mashed potatoes that were runny and the sides of creamed spinach and mushrooms were overpowered with garlic. spinach wasn't edible. Didn't bother with desert or coffee. Got the check and left. Only positive was the bill was $125. Would have spent that in a real steakhouse per person and after leaving Lawry's, wish that we did. All around dreadful.

“Seriously heavy eating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

One of my favorite restaurants. Nothing but prime rib, mashed potatoes and creamed spinich. Throw in a hand-spun salad at your table and you are in for some beef overload. The only real questions is how you want your prime rib cooked. I eat at Lawry's every time I am in Las Vegas. Some of the best prime rib you will ever have and the amazing part is it is consistent throughout the years across their different locations. It is a bit pricy, but worth the money. Go hungry.

“Some of the best prime rib I've had in las vegas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

What a unique restaurant this was. Came here for a birthday. Few miles away from the strip via taxi. We had reservations, and it took about 10 minutes wait time. Sat in the front lobby area and the couch cushions were soft and you pretty much sunk into the seat. Hard to get up off the couch once our table was ready!

Hostess took us to our table and pulled the table out and as we sat down, she pushed the table back in, telling us to watch our feet. Neat technique, never seen that before at any restaurant.

The servers that evening were all female, wearing distinctive old fashioned uniforms. Service was attentive and friendly. I believe Ms. Brown was our server.
We opted for the Lawry cut and had creamed corn as our side dish. It was delicious! The signature ice rotating salad was flavorful and fun to watch being spun at tableside.
We plan on coming back to Lawry's every time we are in las vegas.
