“something for everyone”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013 via mobile

Despite being open to the casino at the Mirage, Samba manages to create a very cozy, relaxed, intimate atmosphere. You never think you're in a casino until after you leave. The service was efficient and friendly and very professional. The wine list is fairly extensive with something to suit every price and palate. The meat carving offers a good variety of everything from chicken to lamb to beef and plenty in between. While the meats are quite good, the best quality steak is sirloin. The other beef selection was flank steak. You can order from a menu as well with selections from seafood to poultry to beef. Ample and delicious side dishes included carrrots, rice, black beans, plantains and more and are served family style. We liked all of the sides. I loved the chicken skewer appetizer I chose for my meal. My husband came for the beef which was a bit disappointing but the amazing chicken more than made up for it.

“Good Food, Noisy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

The food here was good, but the atmosphere terrible! After being at the noisy casino all day long, to come to a steakhouse that is trying to be "hip" and play dance remixes of U2 songs that should not be tampered with was so disappointing! With prices like these, you want to enjoy your meal and not worry about listening to pumping music while trying to eat. It was really such a distraction and made us want to leave as fast as we came in. The wedge salad was pretty good, the lobster risotto was tasty, and the steak that you cook yourself on the hot stone was a fun novelty. Altogether, I don't think we would come back.

“Great dining experience”

Good food. Great staff. Just when we were too full to move they brought desserts w/candles for the 3 people in group celebrating birthdays. Desserts were excellent.

“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013 via mobile

Had dinner here while in Vega. The food, service, atmosphere were all fantastic! For the two if us with food and three toral drinks the bill was $145, but was worth it due to how awesome everything was. Staff really treats you well here. Was impressed!
