Whenever we travel, we try to visit ethnic restaurants and places away from the tourist traps. We weren't disappointed with our visit to Paymon"s, The food, especially the baklava, was fabulous. We visited for lunch and ordered a combination platter which my husband and I shared. There was more than enough for the two of us. The Athens fries were spot-on and the hummus, baba ganosh, falafel, tabuli and stuffed grape leaves were wonderful reminders of how good Mediterranean food can be. To complete our lunch, we couldn't leave without trying their baklava. We weren't disappointed. It was a HUGE piece coved with a sweet syrup. It was a good thing that we were planning on sharing because it was way too much for one person. The place is rather dark and dated on the inside but the food quality makes up for what it lacks in ambience.
