Great meal last night with friends to celebrate a 40th birthday. Very good food, the Steak and all the side were as good a it gets.
The service wasexcellent but a little pushy up selling to increase the price. This is a quality restaurant and it only marks it down.
I was choosing a bottle of wine and the waiter was again a little pushy if fact I felt like he was all over me. It's good to help but try and read the customer better and dont treat them like novices.
I ordered a bottle of 2004 Brunello di Montalcino a wine I am familiar with from my visits to Italy. The waiter arrived with a 2007 vintage and did not mention it, I had to point it out. The 2007 is not as good as the 2004 even though he told me it was a better year. The price was the same and I couldn't be bothered to argue as it would ruin my evening.
Unless you know the customer you are dealing with dont offend them by bringing the wrong wine and talking rubbish. It devalues the restaurant and the entire customer experience.
Ok that said, a very good restaurant very friendly staff, good wine selection and amazing food, the best I've had in Vegas!
Well worth a visit.
