We went here for a meal for my husbands 50th birthday. The staff were brilliant so helpful and friendly, my husband had Steak which was cooked to perfection and i had the mussels with piping hot french bread that was so good i didnt want it to end. The cheeseboard is one of the best iv had anywhwere and the applepie was to die for, this is french cooking at its best.

“such a contrast between service and food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

Went in by myself for a late dinner after attending a conference cocktail party with just passed apps, so I was hungry for a "proper" dinner. Sat alone at the bar, GREAT reception and service by the bartender but was shocked at how poor the meat was. I ordered steak frites au poive, figuring that it'd be a strip or some similar cut. Could have gotten the filet for $35 instead of the mystery cut for $26 and I wish I had. It was a half in thick, institutional, low grade steak - something you'd get at a $9.95 buffet or a baseball stadium - NOT a proper meal. Asked for medium rare, it was grey inside.
Otherwise it was good - great friendly service, nice sides, good shrimp cocktail app., great wine list but man... they have to do something about that cut of beef.

“A real French Steakhouse in Vegas”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

I went on a business trip to Vegas and 16 of my compatriots went to a dinner to Mon Ami Gabi. In this case what happens in Vegas should not stay in Vegas. The food and the atmosphere was great. Besides my own steak with roquefort sause I had a chance to sample my friends meals as well. Deliscious French onion soup- a rich broth (not too salty as is often the case) with lots of oowey-goowey cheese. i also had a delicious country pate with counishons a real milled mustard served Parisienne style on brown paper with all the usual acoutrements. My companion let me sample his sauted brussel sprounts the melted in my mouth. The other steaks and sauces were equally delicious and cooked just right to appreciated the aged beef flavor.
