“Excellent meal and location.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2012

Stopped here at Paris LV while wandering the Strip last week. Sat on the patio in the breeze (it was an unusually beautiful temperature for this time of year) and we were served two very good meals (the seafood crepes are incredible) while the traffic zipped by and the umbrellas kept the desert sun off us. We had been meaning to have a meal here for years, and were glad we finally did it on a day that was enjoyable, weatherwise. The lady server was delightful and we didn't feel rushed. A very good experience, as we felt we received value for the cost of the meal. Will be back soon.

“Great patio”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2012

This is one the very few "people watching" places on the Strip. You may have to wait for table, but it's worth it. There is nothing better on a warm day in Vegas....We had a great lunch with wine and it was quite reasonable. The service was great, but the view was amazing. Highly recommended.

“Worth it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2012

After noting the Cheesecake Factory was rated the best restaurant in Las Vegas here at tripadvisor, I question the value of any review for Las Vegas although I realize that statement probably makes me a food snob. Anyway, I stopped by Mon Ami Gabi in the afternoon for a glass of wine and a bowl of their onion soup at the outdoor patio bar. The waitress behind the bar was friendly, personable and knowledgable. The wine prices were very reasonable and the selection appropriate for the venue. The soup was well made yet a bit too sweet for my taste. Without the added sugar, the soup would have been remarkable. The location was beautifully positioned across from the Beligio and their dancing fountains. That evening my companion and I had reservations for dinner at Mon Ami Gabi. This is where we encountered a strange event with the establishment. Having arrived exactly at the time of our reservation, I went to the desk to notify them we had arrived. The lady asked us to go to the back of the line which we gladly did. After fifteen minutes in line we again arrived at the front desk where the lady, seemingly gleefully, informed us we were late, all the while shaking her head and staring blankly at her seating chart - as if she wasn't going to seat us. Fortunately there were two people behind the desk and the other lady took control of the situation and informed us a table would be ready shortly. After this inauspicious start, things got much better. The bread served before dinner was outstanding. Our dinners were well prepared and tasty while the waiter was professional and friendly in his leisurely style. All things considered you will have a very good meal at prices that are reasonable for this level of quality food and service. Of course there is always the Cheesecake Factory.

“Absolutely Devine!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2012

The Fillet Mingnon in Merlot sauce was so good. It is the most popular item on the menu. We also split the sauteed mushroom side three ways to put on our steaks. It was delicious! The only thing I didn't care for was the frites. They were a mixed of french fries and plain potato chips. Nothing fancy about those. I would have rather had regular french fries instead if that was the case.

“Fantastic Food, Atmosphere and Wait Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2012

We stayed at the Paris Hotel and tried Mon Ami Gabi for breakfast the first morning we were there. What a great place! Sitting out on the terrace overlooking the Belagio fountains was delightful. Umbrellas are strategically placed so you don't roast while eating, despite the fact that it was already in the 90's at 10am. The wait staff was very accomodating and pour coffee and water refills without being reminded. The breakfast selection was outstanding and the prices reasonable, by Las Vegas standards. We ate breakfast there with another couple all 4 mornings and it was always great. The Big Skinny Pancakes with Berries are a must and the Lox platter was very high quality and very reasonable, as were the egg dishes. Excellent coffee also!

We liked this place so much we also ate dinner here 2 nights. Dinner menu has nice variety and is also relatively reasonable. Missy is a fabulous extremely competent waitress with a wonderful attitude.Excellent dishes include the Mussels appetizer and the scallops entre as well as the trout entre and the french onion soup.

We look forward to eating here again, and will make our way here the next time we are in Vegas, even if we are not staying at the Paris Hotel.
