“Fun, Fun, fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

If you're looking for a night of great 80's music, a lot of laughs, and a walk back in time, this is the show for you. Leave the children at home because this is an adult type show but then kick back and sing along. There is a plot, a story line that brings the shows together, but it is the music that is the star. The acting is top notch!

“Very fun!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

What a fun show. If you grew up in the 80's and love the 80's music, go see this show! The show is great and is a nice combination of humor, broadway show and 80's music. Most of the songs are just a small part of the song so you aren't sitting through the entire song of every song sung so you get to hear lots and lots of music. Some older people behind us were commenting that it was "gross" at times. I had no issues with it at all but it is an adult show, not something I would take children to.

“Not for children”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2013

We just came back from Vegas and we saw the Rock of Ages show at the Venetian while there. I am 49 so the 80's music was in my era. I absolutely loved all of the music and would see it again simply for that reason. The show itself is very sexually oriented and downright raunchy at times. I saw people bringing children to this show so heed this warning, THIS SHOW IS NOT FOR CHILDREN. The story line was a little lame. The lead male has a fabulous voice and , in my opinion, really made the show . I felt that it was well worth the 70.00 that we paid for the ticket

“A great show to see ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2013

Apart from my seat, which meant I saw part if the stage through a railing, this was an amazing show. A bit if a slow start but audience participation was encouraged - for instance each audience member was issued a light in the shape of a cigarette lighter, to use when we liked a song. It was an amazing sight.

Well worth seeing, even if you didn't like the Tom Cruise movie version. And the music was a trip down memory lane.

“80's rock”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

a very interesting show. i wasnt expecting much really but was pleasantly surprised. i grew up hearing this music and it took me back quite a bit as so many of these songs i hadnt heard in quite a while and it was great to feel those old 80's vibes again. " here i go again" and "i cant fight this feeling" were the standout numbers, and might i say, they really stirred me up. the lead actors are really good too and although the storyline is thin, that was to be expected, as the focus is on songs and choreography, and the songs get through. very good singing by the performers.i would go back for a second time if and when i get the chance.a feel- good experience.
