“Check on Bucket List”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2014

Absolutely loved the Hoover Dam Tour. Able to go underground and see the turbines. Amazing piece of history. Boat Ride on Mead Lake with lunch and beverages... was very relaxing! The sun on my skin with the mild breeze was just what I needed! Both the captain on the boat and the bus driver were very intertaining and knowledgable. The chocolate factory was nice but due to it being a saturday, nothing was in production. The samples were tasty. Do they even make Mars candy bars anymore?

“OK tour, if you never seen Lake Mead”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2014

The bus will pick you up from the hotel. Then, it will take you to the tour operator office where people are been sorted out to different buses. Takes long time to collect all the people from 8-10 different locations. The driver will entertain you all day. The stay at the dam is too short, especially when there are too many tourists and long lines to get inside. Once you get back out of it, you may have just 5 minutes or less for yourself to walk around and make pictures. The lunch buffet is good. The tip to the driver is expected between $5 and $10 a person.

“The "Dam" tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2014

Without question a must see - the Hoover Dam is a unique part of American history and shows just what can be done without the modern technologies we have today and the determination of men to see a problem and solve it!

“Trip was great, guide was obnoxious ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2014

The tour itself was amazing, definitely worth the money. We happened to get the obnoxious tour guide who was listed in previous reviews. She talked nonstop and about her personal life, not the tour. It was Very annoying and distracting. The time off the bus was absolutely amazing, great tour and definitely worth the money!

“Best money spent on the entire trip!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2014

Cathy was great! We had a wonderful time. The dam is a must see! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because we were the first ones picked up and the last ones dropped off. This turned a 5 hour trip into an 8 hour trip. We were picked up in a shuttle and taken to a central location. Then we boarded a motor coach. Tour was great with a few extra stops. After the tour everyone was dropped off at each individual hotel. We were downtown, so we were the last ones off. We did get to see every hotel on the strip, but we missed our dinner reservations. Even knowing all of this we would do it again in a heartbeat, but would recommend a new drop off procedure.
