We came to Vegas to see The Amazing Jonathan. We have seen him perform several times about 10 years ago and we were blown away by his energy and comic ability. We chose the VIP option as we are on holidays from Australia and we thought it woud make the show a complete experience. Unfortunately we were left very dissappointed. The VIP package was to include champagne and a gift however we received neither. In fact after being lead to our seat (which granted were nice seats) we were told the server would be with us immediately to take our drink order. As we watched the server serve everyone else in the place they finally got to us after about 20 minutes. We ordered our drinks, paid for them and by the time we finished the drinks the show was over (Approx 45 mins).
The show itself was slow and with none of the usual energy we expected from such a highly rated performer. His jokes were old and were delivered poorly. He struggled to keep the show flowing and showed none of the "amazing" ability we know he possesses. Overall we wish we had chosen a different show. Such a shame.

I had no idea who this guy was but my husband promised he was F U N N Y! He was! We laughed pretty hard at this one! I wouldnt pay extra for the VIP seating, i think everyone pretty much sits together regaurdless. Do buy the drink wristband for $15.00, its TOTALLY worth it. However if you have one you have to get up and get your own drinks but it beats paying $8 for one drink just to have it delivered to your seat.

This is the worst show I've seen in Vegas (and I've seen many). He is not even worth $1 to see. His vulger crude language is one thing but to heckle and yell at your audience for having a good time at the show and not sit and be quiet is beyond ridiculous (especially at a comedy act). We walked out after 5 minutes into the show and the theatre wouldn't even refund our money...Would never go back to Harmon theatre again... Even the Drag show was lame...Definitely Harmon theatre shows lower end shows...and to think they actually think Jonathan is a Town favourite...who said...ask your locals...nobody has heard of him and if they did, no one has anything good to say...

I wholeheartedly agree with all of the other reviewers that rated this show at the lowest rating level. If I could have rated it lower than "1", I would have. I have even read some of the older reviews from over 4 years ago and they refer to the same tired, immature jokes and routines from the show. What is apparent from the reviews is that this act has gotten previously canceled at several casinos and has been moving downhill in venues. Having been to the Harmon Theatre, I think this must be the last stop before he completely leaves Vegas altogether.

I think even Jonathan himself is tired of his jokes and act, since he gave about as unenthusiastic performance as one could give. It was so bad that I was embarrassed for the performers, especially Tanya, who portrayed the stereotypical "dumb blonde" assistant. She was horrible. I can truly tell you without exaggeration that you would expect to see the same level of performance (and probably a higher level of performance) in a high school act. You keep waiting to see some real magic and original humor, but don't hold your breath - it never comes! Nope, not ONE true magic trick (except one very transparent trick at the very end). The comedy was as predictable and juvenile as it gets.

WHAT A RIPOFF! If you get a poor product at a store, at least you usually have some recourse to return it. In this case, I feel completely cheated by this scam of an act. I am convinced that the only way Jonathan stays in business is that many naive people like myself see billboards, advertisements, and write-ups by promoters and believe the hype. Consider yourself lucky if you you read the reviews on this site before purchasing a ticket! Just don't do it!
