Stayed at the Ogden House when I was unable to book elsewhere for Fri/Sat nights in downtown. The price was more than right at a $20 daily rate for the weekend, for which I received a small, basic room.
The hotel itself is a bit worn out, but everything in the room worked just fine. The hallway elevator is a bit balky, needing the inside floor buttons held down to get the door to close, but I sure didn't cry about it or raise a stink with management. On the plus, the cable TV service here had more channels than at some much fancier hotels. Was warned about the area, but I walked alertly around at all hours of the day and encountered no problems at all.
