Located at the top of the strip by stratosphere and circus circus, this HGV resort hotel is very nice. The 2 bedroom plus suite we had was quity comfy and had a nice view of the Stratosphere. We love HGV for the washer/dryer and full kitchen in the room. Made it so easy to just make a simple breakfast in the room and to travel with less clothes since we could just do laundry every night. Takes some of the stress out of vacation.

The hotel is a bit away from the action, which was great for us since we had the kid with us. It was better to be in a hotel that didn't have casinos. We learned how to use the Deuce real fast and bussed our way up/down the strip to get to our shows and dinner reservations. So being far away from the big resorts was not a problem at all. Also helped us to discover the CVS next to the hotel which was great for buying a few groceries and such at a lower price than the HGV's marketplace.

We were not impressed with HGV's marketplace. Having stayed at a few HGV's this one did not offer as much and was a bit disappointing. I would also warn any folks going to sit through the HGV ownership promo. We are happy owners for HGV but was let down when we got our restaurant gift certificates after sitting through another presentation. Vegas adds a 25% service charge to the gift certificates so there value was much less than advertised. Would have been nice if Hilton had pointed this out. I may not have wasted the time this trip.

I visited Vegas with a friend and stayed at the Hilton Grand, brilliant hotel if you wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of a night time. Hotel was very clean and tidy, staff well presented and polite. Rooms were basic, but I guess this is due to not being the newest hotel on the strip. Pool area was lovely, really clean and relaxed. Food at the hotel was also very nice, a lot of food for your money. The only down side is the distance to the madness that is the Vegas nightlife, but then there are plenty of hotels in the mix of it all. All in all a very nice hotel.

There is no restaurant in the hotel except cafeteria but the room is equipped with kitchen (we stayed at suite room with kitchen) thus it should be good for family. Room was spacious and kitchen are well equipped. There are a couple of hotels within 7-9 minutes walking distance and CVS within 3 minutes. Good for long period stay.

I stay in this hotel at least once a year when visiting Las Vegas. It is exceptionally peaceful since it does not have a casino yet it is still close to everything. During my most recent stay I never waited more than 30 seconds for a taxi, even though I was in town for the Consumer Electronics Show (150,000 people). The small snack shop/cafe is great for a decent and quick breakfast and the staff is excellent.

The only item for improvement is the business center. I understand that one needs to pay to use a PC in Las Vegas, but the internet access in the business center was very slow. It was also impossible to plug in my USB drive to print a document.

Overall, this is the place to stay in Las Vegas!
