This place offers average motel style accommodations. I was in Vegas for business and decided to stay here as opposed to a casino resort. Upon entering the parking lot the area was somewhat littered with papers, bottles and such. The location I am sure had something to do with this as it's located right next to the freeway. However some say it is far from the strip...hey, in Vegas just get a car and your all set. The location to the Strip is fine. However the neighborhood is not a good one and take caution to be careful getting out of your car at night and do not walk in the area.

Upon checking in I was not made to feel overly welcome. Maybe the guy had a bad day or whatever, but when I check into a place I expect a certain amount of friendliness and welcoming, especially because I had never stayed here before either. No Hospitality here!

I was give a key to my room and told where the elevator was and that was it. As I keyed my way into my room the first think I saw was cloths hanging in the entrance way. Then I heard someone say "Who's their"? Obviously they gave me a key to someone else's room. I am not sure if this is on purpose as they say the place is "frisky" but I found this embarrassing and annoying! Back to the Front desk with all my bags the attitude could not be more casual. No apology, the employee said "well, was he cute"? I did not find this funny at all. I finally got into MY room and found it comfortable. The furnishings are modern, but cheep. The room was clean and that is a big thing in my requirements. Refrigerator yes, but no microwave, a requirement in my book today for all rooms. The bathroom tub had mold around the tile and the faucet dripped constantly. The towels were like sandpaper. Basic and cheep. The 24/7 porno channels are ok, if your into young kids!

The common areas did seem nice and well maintained. The pool area at 7 PM was littered with dirty towels, ashtrays full of butts and overflowing trash cans! Not exactly the "resort" picture I had in mind. The place offers a steam room. It's nothing special, In fact the one at my local gym is 100% better and I bet cleaner! Again, dirty towels all over in the steam room.

They advertised a gym. I found the gym. An old weight machine that has not been used in years and most likely is used as more of a prop in an adult movie than anything. False advertising. I went to Gold's.

There is a nasty TV room. (That is the only way I can describe this). I mean come on! A tubed TV on the wall with some bench seats around. No class at all. At least make it a bit more tasteful. This room itself brings down the entire place to the level of a bathhouse.

For breakfast I was afforded muffins in plastic bought from Sam's Club or some bagels in a tall glass jar, which you could not get out of unless you turned it upside down. Coffee with no milk. How nice! How about some yogurt, fresh fruit, fresh breads etc.... Come one guys... you're supposed to be catering to gay folks.... the folks with money to spend for things like this and to be honest, we expect things like this too. I don't go to a gay resort and expect to get a muffin in a plastic bag!

Upon check out the next day there was no thank you or inquiry as to what were my thoughts. It was simply good-bye. In my eyes the owners are running this for quick money and not as a true resort, but as a day visit place for local guys and that is exactly what I came to find out. They sell day passes to locals and in the end, it's not a place I would described as a resort. It's a motel/Gay Mans Day Spa/Bathouse. I think there is much potential here but they are not looking at details. I will spend the extra $10.00 and stay at a casino resort and get free breakfast next time. It's really a shame as with just a little more effort, gay business guys would stay here as opposed to a traditional place.

Average is the best word to describe this place. And that's a shame as it has a lot of potential.

I liked the rooms - big, comfortable and well serviced.
I liked the pool too - nice area
And the location is just fine, not sure why people have complained about this - do they expect the gay resort is going to be smack in the middle of the strip? It's so close to the strip that it doesn't matter.

What was most disappointing about this place was the staff. When I checked in, all I got was a "you are in room 111" - absolutely no effort to introduce the property, tell me where things are, how the pool works, the BBQ on the Sunday, what else was happening that weekend (they have a lot of events), info on the area, where to park. Absolutely nothing. In fact, he didn't even tell me where my room was! I think that that is unacceptable and it really irks me. Helpful service is free.

Other people have said the owner goes out of his way to help people. I found him a little stand offish and not very helpful at all.

Then when I checked out, I didn't even get a thank you.

Come on team, make a guy feel welcome!

This isn't a bad place. But it has so much more potential.

I think next time I'll pass up on 'staying gay' and go to the strip instead. You can get the Bellagio for the same price as this place!

Great Great place to stay, everything was perfect. John was so helpful and nice and seemed realy concerned that we enjoyed our time here. As many mention it is kind of out of the way so car is helpful, but what you get is well worth it. To be able to be comfortable hanging on a flotie with my partner and socializing with all the other couples. Everyone was so nice and we made lots of friends. It was the best trip to Vegas. We usualy stay in the room or casino but never see a pool and only get to socialize when we go to a bar. But here we rarely saw the room or casino, spent most of our time at the pool. We got food delivered to the room from Daddy's Pizza good everytime menu was in room. We also had the bbq at the hotel and it was very good. So again support a family bussines and enjoy being yourself and showing your love by the pool. And John thanks for a great place and a great time Andy and Ron

As many of the review have said, this place is not in a great neighborhood...though not horrible either. If you come, get a car and you will be fine. Or you can take a cab. Don't walk at night.

The rooms are fine, clean and newly renovated. The style is "modern on the cheap" I would say. I had a suite and it was big, had clean sheets and towels, 2 flat screen TVs with 4 free 24/7 adult channels, good A/C, alarm, fridge. No microwave. Great for a group get together. Staff was nice & there when needed. There was a BBQ at the pool (good food!) and a cash bar (only open for a couple of hrs.).

The pool is clothing optional (as is the rest of the place really) and is the focus of the "resort" with plenty of towels available and lots of sun. Crowd was mixed, leaning to 35 to 55ish I would say. A couple of 20 somethings. Steam room is big and clean and "busy" as was the "video lounge". All in all, a good, safe place to stay if you want to be "gay" and nude at the pool. Otherwise there are lots of nicer places in town if you just want a great room.

This resort is so far from the strip that there is no way you can get there without an expensive cab ride or a rental car. If you do have a rental car....good luck finding it. It is buried in some very low rent area and is just an old motel that has been turned into a gay property, however, there was a "swingers weekend" going on at the end of our stay which was disgusting. Lots of very fat and ugly women and men groping each other and I don't even want to know the rest!
The rooms are "ok" but nothing like those on the strip and there is no food or service.
Most of the men at this resort are not even a 5 out of 10 and the ones that are great looking are usually with someone and not available.
The pool is very nice but only 3 rafts to float on so good luck trying to get one!
This place is very over rated with great pics on their site but in reality, it is really a pretty sleezy place and sort of dirty.
If you want a great gay resort, go to Lauderdale and stay at Pineapple Point, The Grande, The Worthington or The Schubert. They are very nice and CLEAN.
