“Cleanest Rooms / Great Price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

The place has squeaky clean rooms. If don't need a view or anything, this is place to stay. And it's very popular w/those in the know. Because it may be difficult at times to book an available room. It has by far the best security to access the guests room floors. Without a magnetic card, the double glass doors tucked away in corner of the casino won't allow you in.

The only negative, the second hand smoke in casino floor can be a problem. And the $1.99 foot long hot dog in their food court. Will actually cost you something around $8. Because the medium fount drink & a bag of chips is expensive there.

“A Dive Yes, but good Video Poker Pay Tables”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

I never had any luck here until the last time I visited (about time) but the video poker pay tables cannot be beat on the strip. The location is superb. Center strip between the Venetian and Harrahs across the street from the Mirage and Caesar's Palace.
Yes, it is a DIVE. Cheap alcohol and a younger clientele.
Reminds me of kind of a rowdy and loud biker bar without the bikers.
Outback Steak House upstairs serves good quality food and the rather generous comps can be converted into vouchers to be spent at Outback, Denny's (next door) as well as the other food court eateries on the premises.
Nothing fancy- just great location, cheap alcohol (when gambling the alcohol is free, of course), cheap black jack, good video poker pay tables and generous food comps.Of course- without some luck- the pay tables aren't much good ;).

“Dive, Dive, Dive!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013

This casino needs a major upgrade. It epitomizes the term, "dive". It is dark, dingy, and the "pro's" were out in full force closing a few deals. It is a "downtown" casino and doesn't belong on the fabulous new strip amongst the likes of the Flamingo, Harrah's, and The Quad. Blechhhh!

“$1 Michelob Lights!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

We visited Casino Royale too many times to count, for the $1 Michelob Lights... Beers everywhere else average about $3-5 (sometimes more!), but Mich Lights are always $1 here. :)
