Good location just minutes off the strip and they provide shuttle service to Harrahs and back! Clean pools, bar located at the adult pool but NO it's not a swim up lol. If you like the laid back kind of vacation this is a good resort for that. They have some kind of nightly music or wine tasting going on as well. Overall this is a good resort that's very well kept, just expected a little more from Wyndham. Hope this helps.

This was a great place to stay while in for a family reunion. Walking to strip is possible but we cabbed it mostly of the time. $7-8 from here to Tropicana. I had a 2 bed suite in tower 1 which currently been remodeled. Plenty of room for 8 which includes the pull out. Master bed was so comfy. Pools are wonderful and they have one that is open 24 hours. Loved the grills by pool area to grill on and there were always plenty of loungers. This property does have a few slots in the bar. Having a full kitchen was also nice so you are not always having to eat out. The property takes a little getting use to as far as navigating but once you have it it's ok. They have free shuttles to Harrahs and the Rio as well so take advantage! Would definitely stay here again.

Wyndham Grand is not a 5 or even 4 star resort or hotel to be clear. I would give it a 3.5 because we had no problems all week. As a relatively new Wyndham owners in our 30's this is the third location we have stayed in and they are all about the same. They are spacious units with kitchens, washers and dryers, that are perfect for families. They tend to be slightly dated and the actual customer service is usually on par with a quiet hotel, not a resort as they label themselves. This specific location is just fine. It is a relatively easy walk up to a good spot on the strip and of course the shuttle takes you over to Harrah's. The drop-off location is not the best in my opinion because it is behind the building in a dark, musty garage; but it is free and useful none the less. The room was fine and quiet. The pool was ok and quiet. That's about it. I would say it is probably better for families or folks seeking quiet from the strip. We would stay there again as owners with our family but there are so many deals to be found on the strip that I probably would stay elsewhere next time it is just me and my wife.

Room Tip: Presidential rooms tend to have more updated furnishings and better views. Other than that they are...

We booked a 1 bedroom unit, the kitchen is one counter of the living/ dining room so it is a bit cramped. The bedroom and bathroom are a bit roomier. It does have a washer dryer which is convenient. No balcony. The adult pool is wonderful, large area with lots of lounges. It could have some umbrellas as people were switching locations trying to find shade! You are 2 long blocks from the strip but there is a shuttle that takes you to Harrah's. The resort is very well kept, every area is spotless!

Stayed here Memorial Day Weekend as a timeshare guest. It is a beautiful resort, walking distance to the Strip. Check in was quick and easy and our room was ready at 10am (instead of 4pm). That very rarely happens with timeshare and was a huge bonus. Rooms were comfortable, clean and a great size. The pools were great but lounges filled up quickly. Shuttle to Strip was handy but most times too full and you could not get on. Great stay, would love to go back

We've stayed at the WGD several times and each and every time we have truly enjoyed our stay there. It's well maintained, always neat and clean. The condos are lovely and spacious and its an easy walk to the strip or you can take the free shuttle to Harrah's and go from there. The pools are very nice and they have entertainment and activities for those who need a break from the strip or downtown. Staff have been very pleasant and helpful. Great place to stay!

We stayed at grand Desert for the second time and it was better than the first.

Full kitchens and a "condo" like setup makes staying for an extended period easier on the wallet.

Daily trips to a local grocer (small fee) are provided by the resort. Daily entertainment and cocktails in the garden or by the pool are a lot of fun. (Margarita Monday, Wine Wednesday, Brews and blues on Friday).

Staff always friendly and helpful. Grounds and building immaculate.

My wife & I cannot wait to return.
