“A great view and a beautiful suite trump inconveniences.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

We stayed in a 39th-floor city-view sky suite and appreciated its spaciousness, comfort, and view. The bed and linens were luxe, and the two bathrooms were beautiful (mood lights and orchids). We enjoyed the view, especially at sunset (although the sun actually sets on the other side of the hotel, the freeway side). On the city side we could see planes taking off, one a minute, sunlit against a darkening sky with the strip lights below. What was inconvenient? The set-up for internet was annoying and required repeated log-ins and someone from tech to "trick" it. We also needed tech to help us with complicated light controls, and no amount of tricking could provide good reading lights. The other inconvenience involved walking. We used a valet at the main entrance and waited in line to find that the suites check-in was behind a far-distant copper wall at the other side of the hotel. It would have been nice to have been told that in advance and to have been told that our car should have been left at the hotel's 2nd valet (there was no service between the two). While the hotel may be centrally located on the strip, the suites are part of a large casino and hotel. Lots of walking is required both inside and out. There is small lounge area for the suites (it wasn't always easy to find a seat), and the pastries and hors d'oeuvres were very good but not exceptional. That's my take on the hotel, as well: very good but not quite 5-star.

Aria is always clean and the staff is always very accommodating.
The rooms are beautiful especially the sky suites. The rooms in sky suites are nice and quiet and the beds are extremely comfortable. The location is perfect with easy access to Bellagio and being in the middle of the strip.

my only complaint is that the walk to the room is VERY long from the single centrally located elevator bank. Other than that this is a great property. If you don't need a casino in the lobby and want a fully non smoking environment stay at the Vdara next door

We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a Sky Suite One-Bedroom Penthouse from a regular Aria Corner Suite, thanks to our anniversary. Yahoo! The room was absolutely breathtaking and spotless with separate living room, dining room/bar, and bedroom. The bathroom had a nice steam shower, not to mention the high-tech toilet!. Having experienced other club-level concierge lounges at Ritz Carltons and also the Prestige at Palazzo, I would say that the lounge at the Sky Suites is a bit more basic. The space is nice and service was excellent, but the food and wine offerings were simple, with no mixed drinks or hot food -- just basic wine and cheese stuff, with coffee and fruit/pastries in the morning. That was the only slight disspointment, but overall, I'd highly recommend Sky Suites -- thanks to the beautiful rooms great service. We certainly enjoyed it!

This was our 1st time staying at the Aria hotel and it was wonderful!!! The room was beyond our expectations and very nice. It's a new hotel, so everything is modern. There's a great variety of food options and the overall environment was classy and sheek. We walked through all the other hotels and the Aria was by far the nicest and in the best location on the strip. We will be staying here again. :)

The Sky Suites at The Aria are good stuff. Furthermore the Aria itself is a well spaced hotel with great dining options. Add a non-buffet breakfast option and this place couldn't be better.
Nice work, Aria.
