This is a nice quiet stay in Vegas. If you are traveling with children or just want something that doesn't require you to walk through a smoke filled lobby, then this is the perfect hotel. It was so nice after visiting the casino hotels to go back and relax at a hotel that was smoke free and quiet. The pool is nice and large and has a beautifully covered hot tub. And it was great having large pool tools! There is a cafe/store on the lobby level that had wonderful fresh salads, sandwiches, shrimp cocktails, wine, beer, etc. All was very reasonably priced, too. The only negative was the king studio suite was a bit small and the bathroom was VERY tiny! Overall, it was a great hotel.

If your goal is to stay in Vegas away from the smoke and alcohol filled casinos, look no further then this Hilton Grand vacations(HGV) on Karen Ave.

This HGV is located next to old LVH and nestled between a few tall buildings. This HGV with 15+ floors is the shortest hotel building off Paradise Ave. No Airport pickup is offered by HGV. Location off Paradise means you have to take a cab, but I would recommand renting a car.
Monorail is about half a mile away. And there are city buses on Paradise Ave.

Front desk staff is very professional and courteous. Early checkin and late checkout were no problem. Room had a mini kitchen, and is very well designed. So laidback is the design, that there is no work area in the room. Want to use your laptop? Sit on the couch, and use the coffee table.

This is a family hotel: No smoking, no alcohol. This means you do not have drunk, loud, rowdy, youngsters hanging around the pool area: Very nice. Exercise room is great, so are the playroom and quiet room . Free internet, Free Parking, no resort fee. But astute travelers will realize the HGV is not as cheap as staying at an onstrip, midlevel casino. This HGV is defnitely worth the price.

Booked this hotel thru RCI and stayed Dec 1-8th in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. Checkin was not available at 12:30pm, so went shopping for groceries at nearby Albertson, east on Sahara, corner of S Maryland Parkway. Had lunch at a Mcd's and came back to hotel about 3pm. No problem checking in and had requested a high floor away from elevators and vending machines. Was accomodated with no problem on the 16th floor on end 2 units. Condo came with all the amenities. Only 2 king beds in the bedrooms, but also had 2 pullout couches for those in need. Free Wifi was a plus. USA today delivered to your door every morning. Full kitchen for cooking, in unit washer/dryer. Flat screen TV's, 3 of them. One person hot tub in the 1 bedroom. Only issue was with the fan in the one bathroom...would not turn off. Just closed door for reduced noise. Stand up shower was nice with good flow and pressure. Grab handles for those in need. 2 bathroom sinks. Large closet with mini safe. Granite countertops all round. Each of 3 rooms had individual climate controls. View from the room was facing north...towards downtown and Stratoshere. 3 main elevators were very fast and efficient. Hotel had outdoor small pool, the 2 hot tubs were unfortunately extremely small, maybe fit 3 people per. Grounds very well maintained. Used 1 of the 2 outdoor bbq's...utensils at the mini store, where you can buy any necessities needed. Games room with a few games, borrow dvds, ping pong table and pool table. Large and comfortable business center where you can print your boarding passes, read, lounge around. Small but well maintained fitness room. Welcome desk...for info, questions....never bothered about timeshare sales which was bonus. All staff were very friendly and professional. Free outdoor parking. Would have to say this is a great hotel, just a couple of blocks off the strip with no casino. Great stay, and would recommend to everyone, whether on business or pleasure.

I can't say enough great things about this hotel. If you want a relaxing and quiet stay off the strip in a clean, modern, beautiful, spacious hotel, this is for you.

The 1-bedroom suites are huge with full-sized, very well-equipped kitchens and a washer and dryer. The jetted tub is huge and relaxing. There is excellent sound-proofing in the room. Big flat panel TV's with many different technology inputs. Modern design. Everything is new. Large bathroom and plenty of closet space.

Staying here is like having your own modern, in-city apartment. The location is the only negative if you're more interested in being in the middle of Las Vegas action. Also, it's in a somewhat sketchy neighborhood near the Convention Center. I wouldn't take any late-night strolls.

Nice pool area with a big, modern barbecue you can use.

The Peter Thomas Roth bath products and amenities provided are wonderful. Even the shampoo and conditioner, which are usually dismal at most hotels.

I highly recommend it for someone who wants peace and quiet and to just feel like you're at home away from home.
