We stayed at the Westgate Flamingo Bay while in Las Vegas which was something different for us. We like being on the strip in the Monte Carlo or one of the other hotels. But since we stay for a couple of weeks we thought it would be nice to try something different, and we have family there so we thought this would be great for our extended stay.
The Westgate was very nice, the kitchen was a good size and right off the kitchen we had a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer that was wonderful...no dirty clothes to take home. The bathrooms were a little noisy but no big deal. The beds were so comfy and luxiourious, very comfortable. There is a fireplace in the living room, with all the luxiouries of home, dvd player, tv, stereo, etc. Lots of windows and a nice dining area. We had a one bedroom which had connecting doors to the bathroom, one side was from the living room area, the other from the bedroom.
The pool was a little on the small side but still fun. They had a game area also.
Check in was easy but then they steer you over to the salespeople who try to set you up for a free breakfast (sales pitch of course) and give you free tickets...we declined but the woman was rude, didn't like her at all..not a good sales rep if you ask me.
I guess our only complaint is that it was too far out of our way, we like being in the midst of things. Otherwise its a nice place.
