“Get the Greek omlet!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2014

Stay away from the chicken tried steak. The Cali omlet, Greek omlet, and pancakes were great! Be prepared to wait a bit. They get busy, but aren't bad about getting you seated in a timely manner. The atmosphere isn't fancy, but it's inviting.

“Amazing food, even better service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014 via mobile

What better way to spend your 30th birthday, than in Vegas?

After doing research for two months on top restaurants in Vegas, our first morning we decided go to Mr. Mamas and we were beyond satisfied with our decision.

The diner is located in a plaza, it is small, but very clean. We were greeted by a gentleman, the owner, at the door. It was very busy, so he informed us right away that we will have to wait 30 minutes to be seated, but he assured us it will be worth the wait, and boy was he right.

After a 30 minute wait we were seated. Our server, I feel bad for forgetting her name, was amazing. She was very attentive. She greeted us with a warm, pleasant smile, she also gave great recommendations. She truly had a passion for service.

I ordered the steak and eggs. It also came with potatoes and toast. The steak was very tender and seasoned VERY well. The potatoes came with onions and peppers, which gave it more flavor (Very Good!). My partner had a spinach, sausage and mushroom omelette, which she describes as "out of this world." It was a generous portion, the two of us could have shared it.

I will definitely recommend this diner to anyone visiting Vegas. You will not be disappointed. The food is amazing and the service is spectacular. The owner actually comes to your table, introduces himself and ask about your experience at the diner (Love it!) As far as pricing, we spend under $22.

Our vest trip to Vegas, Mr. Mamas will definitely be on our "Must Dine" list. Great food, great service and great prices!

“Great breakfast place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2014

Read about this before we came and had breakfast on 2 separate days. Portion was huge and service was good. My friend thought that they have one of the best omelettes. I had their scrambled eggs and pancakes - no wow factor for me but it's very affordable and good value for money.

“Nice breakfast away from the strip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2014

Yes, you'll be greeted by the owner at the door. This is a diner, but very clean with high expectations clearly set by the owner to the staff. Our meal was excellent, the coffee was good, and they were great about keeping my cup full. Its far away from the strip in a small plaza. Glad we came. There are pictures on the wall, ask the owner of their significance as they are important to his heritage and hometown.

“It's a joke, right?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2014

#8 out of nearly 3200 restaurants? Maybe we expected too much? Yes the service is good & friendly but sadly the food was only average. As a family of 5 we all had something different including one the much touted omeletes. None of us left with any 'wow' factor you would expect from such a well reviewed place.
Beware the sausage gravy & biscuits. The waitress mentioned it had bacon, no problem except the very odd taste.
The following day we chanced across the Bagel Café. Not sure if it is mentioned on Tripadvisor (will be writing 5* review if it is) Google it, It is a hundred times better.
