“great value off the strip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2013

The rooms here are big and clean. The bathrooms are also big, with a separate shower stall and tub. The living/kitchen areas also has a couch, dining table, and mini-fridge. The buildings housing the rooms are separate from the main casino, in low-rise apartment-style buildings. They provide you with a map during check-in, but it would be better if the buildings were labeled more clearly as well. There's plenty of parking and the walk to your room doesn't take too long. I didn't bring my swimming trunks, but I noticed that they had a long pool that's perfect for doing laps.

We had a problem with drain stopper in the bathroom sink getting stuck. I called the maintenance line and they came to fix it while we were out. Great service.

A few negatives...the casino building is on the older side, with poor ventilation. Our clothes smelled like cigarette smoke just after being there for 10-20 minutes during check-in. We didn't spend any time there, though, other than check-in and check-out. They also charge a resort fee. Everyone hates these, but they're difficult to avoid at a casino hotel in Vegas...
Overall we had a very good stay.

We stayed here twice, the rooms are spacious and the linens are soft and cuddly. The suites and casino are about 15 walk to the "strip" The casino is not crowed and much more to our liking. The pools are nice and clean. Restaurants, are restaurants, two inexpensive and one fine dining.
I would recommend this but go on kayak or hotels.com and book for the best rate. The hotel will try and get the highest rate. I got it for $55 one night and about $80 the other on line, the hotel wanted over $200 each night. The is a $15 dollar Vegas tax charge, some web sights include it in the charge most do not and it needs to be paid at check so make sure you are aware if you have paid it or not.
This was an Awesome quieter suite and casino of the beaten path

We loved the Tuscany Suites. We got mid-week bargain rates for a huge room with a king size bed and a hide-a - bed. The bathroom was much larger than most, too. I felt very pampered. The kitchenette had a refrigerator but no microwave which worked fine for us. We had breakfast at the on-site cafe. The only down-side was that we had to walk through the casino to get to it. I would definitely go back

Based on tripadvisor ratings we decided to stay here rather than at one of the hotels on the strip. We were frankly surprised that an off-the-strip hotel would get such high ratings. However, we weren't disappointed. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was huge with two queen beds, couch, chair, coffee table, desk, dresser, kitchenette and dining table with four chairs. Very clean, non-smoking building. We ate a couple of times at Marilyn's and found it a good value...typical diner food at very reasonable prices. They had great musicians in the lobby bar the one night when we chose to stay on premises. It is about a three block walk on Flamingo Blvd to get to the Monorail or the Strip (near Bally's and Bellagio). Couldn't beat the rate - two nights at $80 plus two nights at $24 plus the $15 per night resort fee. We would definitely stay here again unless we got a great rate at one of the more centrally located.

We stay in Las Vegas on our way passing through, not as a destination. Therefore, we really liked the concept of the Tuscany with the rooms segregated into a number of different buildings with parking by each one. We were able to park right next to our building and avoid the mass parking lot and long walk into the building that you have at the major hotels in Las Vegas. It was also about two blocks east of the strip which reduced the parking headaches and hassle normally associated with the strip.

Our room was very reasonably priced, and the room itself was very large, with a kitchen, kitchen table, tv viewing area, desk, two queen beds, a shower and a separate bathtub, It was one of the larger hotel rooms we've stayed in.

We will look for the opportunity to stay here again when passing through.

The rooms are massive in terms of size (2 Queen Double). Accommodations were standard and the staff was friendly. Great price for size and location. We stayed in building E on the first floor which was very quiet and peaceful. The beds are very firm and a bit uncomfortable. The strip is only a 15 minute walk away, in which you will be in the center of the strip (Flamingo Hotel) Only con was the main lobby, hallways, and restaurants and casinos all smelled like smoke upon entrance. Also free wifi in the lobby area.

The Ellis Island casino had a great restaurant at a very reasonable price.

Room Tip: Try Serendipity 3.. The hot chocolate is amazing.

The hotel has a higher than usual deposit for incidentals of $100 on your credit card (most hotels are $50) or $200 if you want to leave cash. Priceline does not give this amount and when I informed the front desk person he told me he would not let me check-in even though the room was already paid for, I would have to contact Priceline if I want a refund and there was nothing he can do. I was not accepting this and made it clear to him the amount of $100 was not listed on the website and I was willing to leave $50. He continued to argue with me but I noticed him scrolling through Priceline on his computer. I guess he realized he was wrong, it was NOT printed there...all of a sudden he was able to let me check-in with a $50 deposit.

I've stayed in many hotels all over the country and have NEVER been told I could NOT check in to a paid for room, nor have I ever been spoken down to the way this "manager" did. The experience totally negated any positive and I will NOT stay there again, nor will I recommend it to ANYONE. There are too many choices in the area.
