“This place is awesome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2012

We are timeshare owners and got into this hotel through an inviation to tour another site in Las Vegas. We had a 2 bedroom which I think can only be obtained through time share ownership. The property in is a fantastic location. You have access to the Flamingo Hotel pools and can even charge food to your room from 3 of the Flamingo restaurants. The health club is all you need to get your workouts in and there is no additional charge. The Owners lounge is a great place to hangout of you want to and it has a pool table and ping pong ( great for families). There is also a piano on a balcony in the lobby if you wan to get some play time. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. I didn't want to come home! the front desk staff was friendly and approachable, the bell hops were above and beyond helpful with taxis and our luggage. When you need a taxi they have to run over to the Flamingo cab stand and always did it with a smile. In fact when we checked out the Bell Captain came back with a stretch limo he already negociated to take us to the airport at the same price as a taxi. Our room was HUGE! It was a 2 bedroom lockout. We had a double door entry with a doorbell. It had a foyer and the kids had their own room with kitchenette, jacuzzi, TV a king bed and pullout full size sofa sleeper. Our suite was modern, clean and was basicaly a large one bedroom apt. The maid service kept our room spotless. I've never had a time share stay where there made you bed daily. The view was of the pools and each morning I woke up early and watched the sun rise up the Flamingo hotel.WOW! There is a Deli on site, a bit pricey but has all you need. There is also free WiFi which was important to my family. There was also a washer and dryer which we used everyday. There was lots of security in place and felt comfortable leaving our teenagers in the room so we could go out at night. If I could give this placde 10 stars I would. The only negative thing that I can say and it is out of the control of the HGVC Flamingo is the construction. It began at 5;30am!!!!! Thus, watching the sunrise. I had read earlier reviews on this hotel so I requested a high floor, which I got but the constrution was still noisy and began early and ended late. Apparently they are building some stores to be attached to the Flamingo and on the front of the HGVC they are building a ferris wheel. So I would recommed you ask for a high floor if you stay here. No gambling onsite but a 5 min. walk and you're in the Flamingo. I hope to come back here again!

Room Tip: A high floor is a must since lots of construction noise!

Thank you for your feedback and we are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. I do however want to correct you in that all of our suites (1- and 2- bedroom) and studios are available to all guests, no matter if they book their reservation through a 3rd party website, through Hilton's website or as an owner.

We look forward to your return.

We stayed April 14(Saturday) thru 17(Tuesday), big pool, heated pool, in room washer and dryer, they are very nice.
But we could not use the wifi most of time, though the front desk told us they fixed it recently.
This is not my place to stay.

My husband and I stayed in 2 bedroom suite on the 16th floor of this hotel for a week (our son was suppose to go, but back out at the last minute). The positive aspects of the suite we stayed in are, it was two completely separate rooms, with one main door leading into small foyer and a separate doors leading to each room inside the foyer area. The main suite contained a full kitchen, living/dining area, bedroom and master bath and a washer and dryer. The second was more of a typical hotel style room with a small refrigerator and microwave. The hotels location is pushed back away from the street, behind the Flamingo hotel located directly on the strip, but right in the center of the strip, making it a quiet place, yet still being within walking distance to almost everything. The reason for the average rating, is a result of the horrible smoke smell in the main suite, and the foul order arising from the shower drain in the master bath. The stench was of raw sewage and became enhanced whenever you turned on the water on. We were later informed by the maintenance person the stench was due to all the pipes being connected to city pipes, which sometime backup and smell. The other issue with the shower was lack of hot water. During our entire stay the water only reached a temperature of warm. Additionally, the score was given due to the old dilapidated jetted tubs. The tubs were huge but very worn, and the jets, upon close inspection were not very clean. The rest of the bathroom was updated and modern. Needless to say we did not use the tub in either room. Although we didn't utilize it, the pool area was very nice. There is construction going on outside in the back of the hotel, but on the 16th floor we could barely hear the heavy equipment. Although we did not have to much interaction with the staff, they seemed friendly enough. Overall, the hotel is just slightly above average, but, with some simple updates it could be really fabulous in my opinion.

Room Tip: If you go while construction is going on choose a room on a higher floor level to avoid construction...

The staff at this hotel was exceptionally kind. From the beginning Gina at the front desk gave our group a warm welcome and had Vegas and Happy birthday balloons delivered to our room. The commons area was always exceptionally clean and that same appearance carried over into our rooms. All the conveniences of home were available in the condo for our use. The rooms were exceptionally clean even with construction taking place between the resort and the Flamingo.

The only downside was the construction is very distruptive to the pool area but, that is of no fault to the Hilton or their staff. The pool was always clean, well stocked with towels (including a fresh towel on all chairs) and plenty of chairs. Mari at the pool bar was very attentive to any drink or food needs.

Great little family hotel to enjoy Vegas from without being in the constant hustle and bustle.

Stayed here for 2 days during March madness 2012. This is a very relaxing property, non-smoking and no casinos but a perfect location. You can walk out a little path and be right at the Famingo Casino. This location is perfect to walk on the Strip.
.Room - stayed in King Studio, bed was a little soft but room was very nice
Relaxing huge jetted whirlpool tub, sink, dishes, microwave and fridge, onsite laundry

We just came back from a week stay (RCI Exchange) - There were four of us in a one bedroom. My two sons aged 6 and 3 slept on the pull out. We were on the sixth floor overlooking the pools. We arrived Saturday night on St Patricks day. Everywhere was packed full of drunks and rowdies except for the Hilton which was very peaceful. We went to the Flamingo Club pool in the mornings and then switched to the HGVC pool at noon once the sun was overhead. It was nice you could bring in your own food to the HGVC pool area. No need to complain about the noise from the Flamingo Adult pool anymore. The jackhammers from behind the Imperial palace drowns out any music. I can see going forward this will be a main complaint about the pool area. A huge new, new orleans themed Casino is going to be constructed and I am sure many will not like the noise. We loved the huge jetted tub in the room. My sons demanded to take a bath everynight. All staff we encountered were extremely polite and helpful. Location was great. One day we walked to Circus Circus and the next day we walked to Manadalay Shark tank. Saw two magic shows -Nathan Burton (free) and Mac King ($13) Our kids also loved the birds and flamingos by the entrance to the flamingo. Vegas is not the best place for kids in general but if you do plan to take them the HGVC is a great choice.

Four of us, DH, DS (16), me and my mom stayed in a two bedroom condo here for four days over my son's March spring break. The condo was nice (updated, etc. // beds were super comfortable). I really liked having a full kitchen and DH even did a load of laundry. We had a 15th floor room with a view of the Flamingo Hotel pool and could even watch the Bellagio fountains in the distance. The hydabed that my son slept on was much more comfortable than most hotel hydabeds, although I did have a little trouble figuring out how to get it set up. I was able to figure it out though without getting help. As we did a retail rental, we had daily maid service. There is a little store and deli downstairs which is super convienent to pick up snacks, breakfast, or a sandwich. Staff were super friendly and helpful and some even knew us by the end of the trip. The two bedroom confguration is a little strange, as first there is a door to enter and then there are two other doors that need key access -- one to a one bedroom condo and one to a studio. We just turned the locks backwards, so we could move freely without have to us the condo key. My mom took the lockout and we took the one bedroom and used the one bedroom LV/DR/Kitchen as our main hang out place. It's a little tricky getting around with a car till you learn the ropes because of all the construction going on. I really liked the place -- so close to everything, but a little quieter and removed from some of the March Madness craziness.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor away from the construction.
