I was nervous, didn't know what to expect! Was greeted upon arrival by Teana who had me take a breathalyzer and fill out the release form. She was very friendly and cordial, made me feel at ease and we talked for awhile. I did a little "shopping", then met with Jay who give a very thorough presentation inside with an overview of the machines, what we would be doing and the expectations, then instruction before escorting me to the bulldozer. A review of the layout of the cab and controls, and it was time to drive - forward and backward through a slalom course - learning how the dozer works and how to control the blade and ripper. Next up, digging a BIG hole then driving up and over the pile you make - YIKES...anticipation was killing me! Jay talked me through it all! YIPPEE!! I did it. Next up was pushing two tires through the slalom (I was lousy at this...), but when it came to filling in my hole I was a pro. Jay was amazing, giving clear / concise assistance, always with a positive attitude that kept me moving forward. I totally enjoyed my time - in the air conditioned cab during one of the hottest days of the year - and now I have a new appreciation of dozer driving. Definitely want to do this again and bring family and friends along. WORTH YOUR TIME!!! And, you receive a certificate worthy of framing acknowledging your completion of your "dig" with option to purchase a photo of you in your bulldozer (which, of course, I DID!)
