“35th Anniversary Celebration”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

Your 25th anniversary is the Silver anniversary. Your 50th is the Gold Anniversary. But for us, our 35th anniversary was the Heavy Equipment Anniversary! My wife are both engineers and she's wanted to try driving bulldozers and other equipment ever since her first days on a construction site. As soon as I heard about Dig This from a cousin living in Vegas I booked our flights and made our reservations at Dig This. We each did both the bulldozer and excavator and it was a blast! The staff is friendly, funny, patient and experienced at helping you through the exercises. We had so much fun with each piece of equipment that we didn't want to stop when the time was up. This is truly a unique, enjoyable and memorable experience that you shouldn't miss. We'll be going back on our next trip to Vegas.

“Who thought bulldozer could be so much fun!”

Great time for all three of us. Two in excavators. Great instructors. Thanks tripadvisor reviewers for pointing this one out.

“I went because it sounded cool and the reviews were unbelievable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

And the reviews were confirmed. I took my 14 year old son and we had to excavators. He didn't want to do it initially. I guess it wasn't hip enough. For the rest of the day he was back to the "I love daddy" days of yore.

Quite simply a great time. For all ages.

We're so glad that you and your son had such a great time. People always seem to have more fun when they come with someone. If you ever need some more "daddy is awesome" time, come on back!

“31700 lb ft of swing torque at your finger tips”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

Decided to stop by on Sunday en route back to LA. Selected the excavator. Let's break down the options available to you to play around with this 36,000 lb toy:

1. You can apply for a job in construction and hopefully end up operating one of these. However, you may already have a job you enjoy and the construction industry is not exactly thriving these days.

2. If you have significant land and dirt, you can rent one of these. However, this will set you back a few thousand for each week. Then you also need to factor in the cost of giant tires and four basket balls.

3. You can buy one. A new one will set you back in the six figures and a used one is not that cheap either. Factor in operating costs, and it's an expensive hobby. Not to mention that your neighbors will be wondering why you keep moving dirt to the same spot and back, day after day.

4. You can play around with one the next time you are in Vegas for a fraction of the cost of the other options and walk away with a smile.

Relaxed atmosphere, great views of the strip, climate controlled cabins and more rewarding than spending the equivalent amount at one of the casino tables.

If you have a high-stress day job like myself (in medicine ... or any industry), this is a very therapeutic outlet. The activities are simple and predetermined, but afterwards I thought it would be very cool if they offered an elite package for those willing to pay where you had to complete a project over a few hours, ideally using more than one type of machine.

Here's how I planned my stop-over. Went online the previous night and bought the package directly from the web site, applying the current coupon code. With the money saved from the coupon, treated myself to the Oyster Bar at Palace Station (different review) just down the street. Perfect complimentary package.

We're glad you picked the correct option out of those 4! Thanks again for coming. p.s. You didn't even invite us to get Oysters with you...we like Oysters!
