“Must see”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

This is by far one of the best attractions in Las Vegas it's a must see and do especially at nightime. This is when the freaks come out. Everyone is so nice and very family oriented. You will never have a bad time coming here.

“Getting Better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

The Downtown while getting better, still has a way to come. They continue to new and improve it though. Always adding new hangouts, bars, lounges and reastaurants. While it has come a long way, I am waiting for Zappos to really take ahold. Once that happens I think it will grow with leaps and bounds- still always a fun time!

“If you have a bucket list the strip and Freemont Street has to be on it!!!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Las Vegas is really an oasis in the desert on a Scale that you can't imagine unless you realise that every Hotel is bigger and more stylish than the next.
If you can think how long it takes to walk through hotels in Britain add another 15minutes to just get through the lobby in most of the Hotels.
The strip is really where it happens and its open 24/7 if thats what suits you, but its very expensive, go in March Spring break in America as from now on its getting hotter and it will stay roughly 115 degrees from June onwards, even the Americans said its unbearable.
It will be less busy but if you can handle heat then you will be fine,i'm glad i can say i have done it,we stayed for 1 week and its definately go go go everyday you will never see it all,and if you are a gambler then its paradise.Tables used to take less dollar bets majority now its a 10 dollar min on the strip unfortunate sign of the times,5 dollars at the Golden Nugget freemont st.
Down sides from 1 extreme to another plenty of money exchanging in casinos, and plenty people begging outside for money as they have no NHS that i found quite upsetting its against the law but they still do it as you can see they are desperate.
Dont be put off by the negatives Freemont Street is a definate, take the RTC bus for 8 dollars 24hrs not the taxi 37dollars,personally i would not take kids alot of inappropiate pictures 1/2 nude dancing on bar tops but thats my opinion.Look out for the famous cowboy neon light, the roof is now covered and a zip line going on above your head .

“Good place for low limits at Casinos. OLD hotels and attractions.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Not a bad place to go if you are looking to get off the Strip for an evening but still stay in the Vegas atmosphere. The people in the Downtown area are much more "relaxed". On a Saturday night the style is tshirt, flip-slops, and mullet. There can be a crazy bunch hanging out here.

“Freemont Street”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

It's good to visit for a few hours while you're in Vegas, but more than that gets a little tired for me. It's more of a hang out for the older folks -- they like being able to walk from one hotel to the other, with ease. They are doing a lot of work downtown, and have some pretty good restaurants down there now. We ate at a fish and chip place that was great -- right across from the Heart Attack Grill -- didn't get to that one. but, a lot of the casinos are older, have funny smells and just don't have the same appeal as the STRIP.
