“Loved it, great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2014

We booked the Palms for a week for a special birthday and we wanted to be in Vegas. On arrival we loved the look of the hotel, the desk and lobby areas are very clean and smell amazing. WE were greeted warmly and placed in a superior room in the Ivory Tower with the most fantastic view of the Strip. The hotel is about 5 minutes from the Strip and the half-hourly shuttle drops you off at Caesar's Palace, otherwise a taxi will cost you approximately £12.

Our room was gorgeous with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We really enjoyed our room and the hotel as a whole, it has everything you need but is still very quiet when you want to sleep. We ate at the Buffet, the Eatery and at N9NE, all of which were excellent. I would have to be honest and say that we found N9NE a little overpriced but the service and food were great. Loved the buffet (both breakfast and dinner are fab) and the Nachos at the Eatery take some beating! We used the cinema on one of the afternoons which was superb, and our favourite haunt was the Social Bar at the entrance to the hotel.

After a week there were still areas of the hotel that we hadn't discovered, such as some of the restaurants and the clubs, however we still made the most of it. We were disappointed that the pool was closed, yet still included in the Resort Fee, however we did try the pool at Palms Place which was good.

This is a fabulous hotel with superb facilities and rooms. If we were to return to Vegas, we would stay here over and over again.

I enjoyed my staff at palms ivory tower 8th floor. It's beautifully decorated inside...and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. the price was a great deal. there is a shuttle every 30 minutes to the strip. I actually did win a little $$$. thanks I will stay again,

This is my 3rd time staying at the Palms and each time has been a little bit worse. The hotel appearance is in good condition, nothing in the ballpark of the Wynn or Aria, but nonetheless a decent 4 star hotel that is a good value. The problem I had with this place is all the staff from the front desk, bell hops, restaurants and security where all very rude and arrogant.

My biggest issue I had was with check in. I arrived very late in the evening and they didn't have any rooms available in the remodeled Ivory tower that I had already prepaid for. The front desk tried to be sneaky and say "we have decided to upgrade you to the Palms Place!" Unfortunately, the Palms Place rooms are cheaper per night and a decent hike away from all the action of the hotel (there are no restaurants and gambling at the Palms Place). They weren't going to refund any money, place me in a suite, offer any free accommodations...it was take it or leave sort of attitude. They said if I come back tomorrow they can switch me over to the Ivory Tower, which I agreed to regardless of the inconvenience of switching rooms after unpacking. The whole time all the staff was very inconsiderate and arrogant. At 1 point they disappeared for 15 minutes to speak to the manager about this, no resolution was made or even an acknowledgement of the dealy. The next day I switched rooms and again different staff was also very rude. They would not help with my room transition at all and made it seem that this was the biggest inconvenience for them.

I don't want to continue to ramble about all my personal bad experiences, but overall the Casino customer service and overall vibe is far inferior to many of the other Vegas Strip hotels. With the Palms being off the Strip, they really need to deliver a superior experience to get people to want to stay there opposed to staying on the Strip and they are falling far short of any of the keys things they need to do for a top notch Vegas experience.

You can get an equally priced room on the Strip, so would recommend travelers to steer clear of the Palms.

Room Tip: Don't stay at the Palms Place if you are looking for convenience to the hotels' dining and e...

I love the fact how you guys have yall rooms set up. Its so luxury looking and it amazes me how yall dont have an ugly standard room like all of the other hotels in Vegas. Me and my wife loved it. She was so shocked how nice it looks.

The room is awesome and staff are so friendly!! Stayed in the salon suite and had the most wonderful view!! The casino is awesome and the video poker is fantastic!! The Palms as been our Vegas hosting ground for about 10 years now. No need to travel to another casino! Looking forward to another trip in September!!!

Great! We loved the view from our corner room! Great service and beautiful rooms. The casino is welcoming and the food is awesome. Also we saw a movie in the on site theater and danced in the on sight lounges. Be sure to bring some Trendy clothes or they will not let you in.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the corner..where you can see the Fantasy Tower pools and great views of Vegas!!

It was comfortable, clean, sexy and very stylish. The front desk personnel are very accommodating. There are very few rooms on each floor in the Ivory Tower so its very quiet.
The bars and nightclubs are outstanding- there's one for every one's taste.
The Eatery has several fast food options. There are fine dining restaurants as well. There is a movie theatre on the property. Everything is on the property for a great visit or staycation. .
