“Breakfast: Salmon lox is a treat. Rest seemed ordinary”
During our stay, we joined another couple who were part of our friends group for breakfast at the quieter and open Overlook Grill. Don't expect to eat here unless you are a guest as it is associated with the Overlook pool area reserved for lodgers.
There are both indoor and outdoor sections but we ate in good light indoors. Service was friendly and our server knew the menu. I ordered its ample salmon lox on a small neatly prepared hash browned potato and well turned out with the usual trappings of capers, chopped onion and boiled egg @ $18. The three others had the more common eggs, toast, and breakfast meat offerings. My dish was by far memorable. The others just seemed unremarkable @ $15-16. If you want jam, sauces, or other touches, just ask for them. The coffees kept flowing.
If you want similar 'ordinary' breakfasts, go across the street to one of the smaller Miracle Mile restaurants for a 2/3 savings.
