The Addiction restaurant is great on some counts. Brunch is the best; it's nice to enjoy a particularly yummy egg white scramble in the bright, clean, and sunny room. (Note, in a nicer place like this, the reliance on packets for ketchup and other condiments gives a feeling of cheapness). Portion sizes are just right. However, coffee cups are small and require frequent refills.
Service is generally OK. Expect to wait for a server to appear, but once seated is friendly and attentive. Bar staff seem inexperienced but apologetic.
The deep-fried macaroni sticks are especially yummy. Avoid the Mediterranean plate; it's a mess of dips and slimy eggplant strips with a less-than-adequate serving of bread. Menu could use some more variety (including more vegetarian options).
In the evenings (open until 11pm) the ambiance feels bright and alive. The monthly Yappy Hour is well attended with happy looking dog owners. Would give it another try.
