Instead of choosing one of the theme classical hotel, we tried something more modern. Great decision for our honeymoon! Elegant and sophisticated furniture in rooms and the common places: have a look at the shiny chandelier and at the animated column in the reception; very large room with a beautiful glass shower and a great view. Don't touch anything inside the room: you risk to find it on your credit card (weight detectors). If it's possible, choose the strip side and don't forget to include breakfast, an entire floor full of any kind of food: our favourite breakfast in the Usa.

Just got back from vegas yesterday after a month long adventure

scored 2 free nights at the cosmo and was pretty worried because getting a freebie meaning the room could of been anything so its pot luck

turns out it wasn't the case, upgraded room, views of EVERYTHING and the staff were most helpful, it was our 2nd time staying at the hotel and it was better than the first time.

also added note of going to marquee and getting a free cabana helps as well

Room Tip: My advice is upgrade to a strip view .. sure if you ask nicely you'll get what you want

Visited Vegas in the second half of July '14 with friends. Had the privilege to stay at the Cosmopolitan. Very spacious & luxurious twin BR with a beautiful view of the adjacents hotels & the airport. Everything from the hotel lobby to the casino to the Marquee N. club and the two different swimming pools, all are thoroughly enjoyable and very unique.

Moved into a "wrap around" suite for the last day and that was the icing on the cake. Had an L shaped balcony which was a good 25m with a breathaking view. The hotel is strategically located in the heart of Vegas with easy access to the strip which in itself is a good evening's walk covering all the major hotels.

Would love to stay here again ....

Room Tip: Chose a room facing Vegas airport / Aria. Corner suite would be great !!

Restaurants were fantastic, club lines were out of control and over-crowded, casino was average, rooms very chic. Not as classy as the Wynn, probably will not stay there again due to the party like atmosphere.

I'm an avid and frequent Vegas-goer. Per reviews of other places, I tend to stick with Aria as my go-to hotel but deals elsewhere have swayed me to venture out. And man, am I glad I did for the Cosmopolitan.

Check-in was pretty quick and I was offered a cheap ($30 a night) upgrade to a high floor room with a strip view. Definitely worth it as the view was birdseye of the strip and absolutely perfect all hour of the day. The room was clean, modern yet still comfortable, and so spacious. I love the fact they did a huge open bathroom, but still thought about privacy with an adjustable screen to use as needed.

Air was constantly adjusted correctly (even with the balcony door being open) which I really appreciate. Housekeeping was quick and meticulous, replenishing bathroom toiletries quite a bit!

Hotel pool (BLVD pool) was lively without being obnoxious (didn't get a chance to check out the Bamboo pool). Wicked Spoon is def a high quality buffet and I appreciated the fact they do Brunch and dinner only, giving late risers the right to breakfast at any hour until 5P.

Room Tip: Definitely go for an east tower room, higher the floor the better for phenomenal views.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Cosmo in two years. The first time we stayed without issue. This time around, we had a horrific shower experience, in both bathrooms. We had an upgraded villa with two full baths. When I attempted to take a shower, nothing but hot water would pour hot, SCALDING HOT WATER. I called down and we had a facilities guy in our room from 11:30-12:15AM. Talk about a buzz kill. This guy suggested it was resolved and proceeded to leave. The shower worked well for about 1 minute and turned HOT once again..this resulted in a very quick shower. At this point, I was too exhausted to call again until the next day and luckily we had family with rooms nearby that we could use for showering. I called again following day and had another facilities guy replace valves in both units. Amazingly, they both had cold water and we were able to use them...for about 5 minutes this time and BOOM, HOT WATER once again.

Don't get me wrong, I will still give this hotel another chance as the views are beautiful and the beds are extremely comfortable. The elevator wait isn't bad and the hotel as a whole is gorgeous. There is a "Secret Pizza" parlor on the 3rd floor. I couldn't get enough. The bamboo pool was nice and relaxing. Service was sub par but it was busy. The cosmo has some of the best strip access in town. Even if you're in the rear tower, getting to the strip is a breeze. The gym was a bit small for such a large hotel. We will be back.

Room Tip: Get a view of the Bellagio fountains.

I have stayed at this property several times with both sub-par and exceptional experiences. While I would not recommend this property for business travelers (due to the difficulty getting in and out of Valet and the noise) for a regular trip to party in vegas, nothing on the strip beats the Cosmo!

Restaurants on property and next door in the Crystals mall offer everything you could want and can fit any budget. The fitness center is one of the best I've expierenced in a hotel and you can use the cardio equipment while watching the Bellagio fountains.

The rooms are Plush and the Bathrooms are amazing!

Room Tip: The suites are amazing! Spend the extra money and get yourself a terrace studio or wrap around suit...
