“Best Christmas gift!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2014 via mobile

We stayed here for 3 nights. After reading many of the reviews, we knew to ask for a room high up, East tower, and facing the Bellagio fountains. So glad we did! We were on the 63rd floor, and we enjoyed the views of the strip and of course the nightly fountain shows. We parked by the west tower elevators in the garage so we could go straight to the lobby to check in. You do have to walk through the casino though to get to the East tower elevators. After that we parked by the East elevators in the garage. Plus, you have easy access to the strip if you stay in the East tower. It was not noisy at all. We loved the spacious suite. Huge bathroom, living area, terrace balcony, and very comfortable bed. The Chandelier Bar was beautiful! We will definitely be back!

Loved our room with the balcony overlooking the fountains. Worth paying the extra for a room with the view. Prices can get silly so be flexible and try to grab a deal. Staff were very helpful and check in didn't take long. Good position on the strip to walk to the Caesars palace etc. We ate in the fusion restaurant Thai/Mexican which was nearby and reasonably priced. Personally we preferred the ambience at the Venetian so would stay there next time.

First trip to Vegas, so don't know much about the town, but this was an awesome hotel. Great, helpful staff. Amazing, suite-like room. Ask for the highest floor you can get! The views are incredible. Great vibe. Only frustration was that the lobby is in the west tower, so if you're staying in the East tower, you have to walk through the casino to get there, and it's a hike! Marquee was closed while we were there so couldn't take advantage of free entry unfortunately, but the location can't be beat otherwise! Didn't eat at the hotel except for an almond croissant at the Va Bene which was AMAZING! Don't think they have a spa, but if you're looking for a great way to spend an afternoon, head over to the Canyon Ranch Spa at the Palazzo/Venetian, $40 for a day pass.

Cosmopolitan is part of Marriott's Autograph Collection, so it adheres to some of the amenities that Marriott members receive. I am a Marriott Platinum member. At check-in, I was unaware that there was a separate area for Platinum members, but the receptionist at the regular check-in counters was very knowledgeable. She mentioned that the Platinum check-in area did have complementary coffee and tea in the mornings. I was given an upgraded room (suite), and also 2 buffet passes to the Wicked Spoon Buffet. However, they mentioned that the hotel no longer will given buffet passes to Marriott Elite members (I think only points now). Resort fee was $28 per night after taxes.

The room was nicely decorated with high-end bathroom amenities. Wifi login did not work, but the front desk was able to give me a separate login. Speeds were very fast. Housekeeping was very slow to arrive in the evenings when I had called for extra blankets for the sofabed--I recall that they were similarly slow on a previous stay as well.

They are separate gyms on each of the Towers. Each is stocked with the standard machines, along with water and headphones for use during exercise.

Overall, I was very impressed at the decor, cleaniness, and experience. The hotel is priced on the higher end of Las Vegas strip hotels, but you get a more refined experience. I would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at the Cosmopolitan for a long weekend. We were on the 32nd floor in a studio and sprung for the fountain view. It was absolutely worth it! We really didn't see any other hotels with balconies and that by itself was worth staying at the Cosmo. It was a great way to relax when we needed a break from the action. The room was clean and modern, with an amazing bathroom that had a jacuzzi tub, huge glass shower and 2 sinks.
The resort itself is huge, so give yourself 15-20 minutes to get anywhere. We ate at Jaleo and Estiatorio Milos and grabbed a snack at Va Bene Caffe. They were all fabulous in their own way.
