“The Only Place to Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

Stayed 3 nites in September, 2 nites in October. Beautiful hotel. Ammenties plus. Stayed in a one bedroom and a studio both equally as nice. Balcony that overlooks the strip. Large rooms and extremely well maintained! No matter where you chose to eat food is wonderful. Would recommend this hotel highly to anyone visiting Las Vegas.

Booked in for just two nights and that was two nights two many.
Location is cracking but thats the one and only positive I can give it. Really poor in most...no, all other ways. The one thing that stands out is the room with microwave, dishwasher. Sink and NO, NONE....EMPTY OF a cup or spoon or kettle or coffee machine. No plates, no nothing. Think about this people .....you get there after a 10hr flight and yor Mrs can't make you a drink.....some might say, whats the point of bringing her? Really.....no way of making a drink??? Really really poor. No matter how you try to put it out your mind, it really begins to enoy you. Theres the dishwasher, with nothing to put in it! Theres a fridge with no where to put anything.....WHY? Oh, its full of over priced small cans of pee poor beer. I note I could have paid a extra £40 per night to have the 7"EXTRAS" ! Meaning a coffee making machine or a ketttle. Really not good enough and with all the reviews saying the same thing, its about time the hotel took note.

Nice hotel, very snazzy entrance where desk is. We stayed in room 4711 in the west tower in 2 double bed suite. There were 3 of us, we had asked for a roll away bed but it wasn't in the room, but that was okay, 2 of us shared. The washroom was a bit weird with an "open concept", but I guess most people that share rooms are couples or families so I get it. We had a nice view, and luckily we could not hear the band playing at the pool from where we were staying. Our friends in the east tower at 3580 could not sleep because of the volume of the band. The casino is smaller than the other hotels, but I kind of liked it better that way, seemed more cozy. Also, didn't seem as smoky. Wicked Spoon was awesome, but a little on the salty side, with the blueberry crumble being a stand out for me. It was good being on the 47th floor because it is the first floor of the higher levels. When the pool party lets out, the elevators get totally clogged with people and having the first higher level floor mean not real waiting while the elevator stops at every single floor. We would go to the pool on the west tower because it was more quiet, and the hot tub was great, especially since the first day we got there was cloudy and a bit cool. The Cosmopolitan is a nice central hotel, and I would definitely go back!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the bellagio will not hear the band playing at the pool at night Being on the 47th flo...

I don't understand people ripping on this place. Did you come to Vegas to volunteer with your church group? Did you come for a nice quiet weekend with the Mrs.? Maybe read War and Peace? Followed by missionary style sex with the lights off? Probably not.

This place embodies the current state of Las Vegas. Trendy, opulent and over the top. And I can't get enough of it. Great food. Great cocktails. Young, trendy vibe with a friendly staff. Great eye candy for guys and girls alike. Perfect place to go and let loose for a weekend. And it's clean.

Also one of the few hotels in Vegas where to standard rooms have balconies.

Room Tip: Get a room with a balcony facing the Bellagio Fountains. Doesn't get more "iconic Vegas&quo...

You don't even need to leave this hotel to experience Vegas. This place has everything you need! Very modern and clean. The rooms are amazing and very large for the price. Bathroom was out of this world. Robes & slippers. Upgrade for the Bellagio fountain view, worth it! Chandelier bar is amazing. Dining is superb. Easy walk to the hot spots. Will stay here every time!

Room Tip: Bellagio fountain view upgrade!

I stayed at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas at the beginning of September. Having been to Vegas several times before I have stayed in various hotels on the strip now. I had heard good reviews about this hotel from friends so booked up. Was travelling with a large party for my sisters wedding, 36 of us in total - Not one person has a bad word to say about the hotel. Got to count for something right?

Location - Slap bang in the middle of the strip. Location simply cannot be beat!

Check in - Was quick and the staff were friendly, polite and helpful (cant be said about other check ins I have had in Vegas). I found the staff in the Cosmo to be the friendliest of the other hotels I have stayed in on the Strip.

Rooms - We had a one bedroom fountain view suite with balcony overlooking the Bellagio Fountains. Absolutely incredible. The room is huge and has everything you need. The bathroom itself is the size of a standard hotel room in the UK. They were cleaned daily to a high standard. Now I know not much sleeping happens in Vegas, but seriously, the bed is something else, amazing! The view from the balcony at night is out of this world. A rare thing to have a balcony in Vegas but it made a massive diference.

Pool - There are a few pools within the hotel. We only used one. Was a smaller pool but plenty of sunbeds and a nice atmosphere.

Breakfast - Dont even know where to begin with this. Breakfast was included in our rate at the Wicked Spoon restaurant. Wow! Buffet style can be questionable, especially when there is so much choice on offer, but everything was coocked to perfection. The standard Eggs, bacon, sausages etc all there, including other selections you would not believe. My dad had steak and mac & cheese every day for breakfast. There is also sushi, ribs, chicken, desserts, ice cream.. the list is endless.

I cant say enough good things about this hotel. Have read some of the more negative reviews on here and am honestly very surprised. Like I said - 36 people at one time, not one complaint!

Room Tip: One Bedroom fountain view suite, balcony and view - incredible.
