“One of the Best hotels in Vegas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2012

This is new fresh hotel on the middle of the Strip. Perfect location, amazing rooms. We got an upgrade to a better room, as we just got engaged before the trip, so we let guys on reception know about it, plus we been in Vegas before, so they gave us an awesome corner room. Did not have too much Bellagio Fountains view, but we could hear it, so i think next time will not ask for a Bellagio view room, as noise (semi loud) was till late. Definitely recommend this hotel for couples, clubbing, romantic. Not family for sure. Lots of young people, it give this place a special atmosphere. Did not really used a pool, but could see it from out balcony. Looked good, btu it was too cold for us to swim, plus did not have time between clubbing.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on higher floor (above 20th) - less noise from the Strip and fountains. Corner roo...

Took a quick trip with wife and Mom for Mothers day. Had been to Vegas several times before. Have stayed at Wynn, Encore, Bellagio and Venetian. Caught a deal via Southwest and chose Cosmopolitan as the hotel...mistake. Rooms were nasty! Had a room for wife/me and Mom. Both were dirty, stains in carpet, cig burns in carpet. Bathrooms were very dirty. Hotel is struggling for sure. Checked it out...taken over by bank and now for sale. I would pass on this one as a LUXURY vegas hotel and head for the Wynn or Bellagio or Venetian. Much nicer and same price in the end. One last note...I get that the PARTY is in Vegas. No problems here...but I gotta tell ya...the number of underage kids running around this property carrying beer and drinks was crazy. Clearly the booze was NOT bought at the Cosmo as the kids were carrying red solo cups and cases of beer...but you would think security would do something to prevent this.

Room Tip: Had a room facing the fountains...nice but simply could not get past the filth...everything in the r...

Went to Las Vegas for the first time in about 15 years and stayed at The Cosmopolitan. WOW! 5 Star all the way around and our room was beyond amazing. Customer service is fantastic, the technology is incredible, the decor and ambiance is modern, creative and over the top. Great experience!

Stayed only one night but I could have stayed there forever! Walking in the hotel looks absolutely beautiful! Long wait to check in but just send your buddy to grab a couple of cocktails for you while you wait. The clerk who checked us in couldn't have been nicer. He made us feel like we were celebrities! Arrived before check-in time on a Saturday and had no problem getting our room right away. The room itself was beyond great. We had a terrace studio. The special little touches made the Cosmo the best. My name on the room key, on the tv and touchscreen phone were nice. Loved the Beck & Call button on the phone. We played video blackjack and poker at the lobby/sports bar area. Great bartender, although I don't remember her name. The drinks were nice and strong. Checked out over the phone, no problem. Can't wait to go back again. :)

Room Tip: We didn't get the Bellagio view rooms but we still had a lovely view of the strip.

Good: Beautiful, stunning hotel! Amazing experience! Loved hotel! The atmosphere was great. We were there for a birthday weekend. Beautiful lobby. Very nice lobby. Amazing restaurants! The Chandelier Bar was a great place with a great vibe. Holsteins was delicious! They had amazing burgers. Loved the option of sweet potato fries! The "Secret Pizza" place was so so good! Delicious pizza! Great rooms. Loved the room! Very sleek design. Great, big bathrooms. Loved the shower. Absolutely amazing. Loved the bath products provided. Soft, plush robes!! Very comfortable beds. Great high-tech TV. Amazingly silent rooms. I was so impressed with how quiet they were. Great to sleep without being woken up by random sounds. Large room. Clean room. The housekeeping do a great job. Beautiful view of the strip. Amazing pools. It was nice that there was more than one to choose from. Great atmosphere at the pools. Comfortable lounge chairs!! I loved that the water wasn't freezing in the pool! The hotel location is ideal. Walking distance to everything.
Bad: Absolutely ridiculous long lines at check in and check out. Over 30 minute waits times is just crazy!!! Staff wasn't the friendliest. The maintenance staff were so friendly though. Also, the security were the friendliest. Expensive hotel. Expensive food and drinks. Expensive everything.
Will recommend - yes!! Will go back to stay again - without a doubt! It was our first time at the Cosmo.
Amazing experience!

stayed at the Cosmo with fiancé on our first trip to Vegas. I was a tad worried about the hotel because of other reveiws but there was no need to be.

Check in was fine for us but I did notice large queues on other days (but this is to be expected)
Room was absolutely fantastic and we were upgraded to a Bellagio fountain view- try and get this view definitely worth it.

Had breakfast at Wiked Spood included with booking. Great buffet with plenty of vegetarian choices. Walgreen supermarket was across the bridge next to Planet Holywood which was handy for water ect...

Room was not absolutely spotless when we arrived but it was this was not a problem for me- room was cleaned everyday and housekeeping staff and all other staff were very friendly and helpful.

Went to Marquee day club which was great fun and easy to get into if you are dressed right and polite to the door men.

Tips for the ladies- carry high heels in your handbag instead of wearing them as you will end up walking several miles in a day- other hotels/casinos appear close but take a long time to walk to ESP if the streets are crowded.

We did the helicopter trip to the canyon which Cosmo sorted for us- breath taking expense - would highly recommend this tour.

Overall if you enjoy partying and staying in large modern rooms then Cosmo is a great choice. The beds a very comfy and if you dont touch the minibar you wont get charged incorrectly. We ddnt have any problems with the technology in the room- can hear the music from the club at times and the Bellagio fountains are quite loud so if that will bother you ask for a room away from the club/fountains.Right in the middle of the strip I would say its in the best location, along with Ceasers and the Bellagio. The casino was buzzing whenever we walked through and the Roulette machine even paid out!

Aria hotel is next door and we found some great restaurants in there(better value and choice than the Cosmo in my opinion) Planet Holywood across the road has plenty of nice places to eat including a fresh tasting Mexican place!

Room Tip: Bellagio Fountain view room in the West Tower is just perfect!

Stayed here on business for a convention May 2012. Very nice place! Fabulous room with soaking tube. Staff was very accomodating! Great restaurants too. Hung out at the Chandelier Bar quite a bit. Cocktails were a little pricey, but where aren't they in Vegas. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Room Tip: Stayed in the East tower. West tower is a bit more convenient. Fitness room in the West Tower is f...
