I stayed at the Cosmopolitan for 2 nights in a city room with two beds but no terrace and had a good stay. The room and bathroom are a decent size with high quality furnishings but no bath in the bathroom. I would also note in the City room that see through glass separates the shower from the bedroom and the privacy blind can be controlled from the bedroom.
As the hotel is on such a small footprint it has a strange layout for Las Vegas with the public areas split over 3 levels (but this did not seem to cause any problems). The casino was also right on the strip and offered very good drink service (though the slot machines were very tight).
The Cosmopolitan lacks the impact of the beautiful Bellagio next door but I thought it had more character that the generic Aria.
The pool areas are very nice but way too small for a hotel of this size (would not stay here in the summer).
I found the service to be very good and one of the receptionists printed my boarding pass and bought it up to my room.
I liked the Cosmopolitan but with so many options in Las Vegas, I don't know if I will go back. They also didn't charge a resort fee which is a real bonus in Las vegas at the moment.
