“very good choice, would do again in Vegas”

We started AND ended our National Park vacation in this hotel. The "kids" (okay, they are in their late 20's) found it easy to get to the strip and have fun.... and we "old folks" could choose to relax or follow them to the mainline. The place is clean and comfortable, and fairly new (we were there 9/2012), and the staff was all very sweet and accomodating. Fresh baked cookies in the evenings hit the spot. Hotel van was easy to get to go to the strip, or a local mall, or the airport. The drivers carry water :) in a cooler. VERY short drive from the airport or the strip or restaurants, easy parking. Only "con" is that the area it was built in has nothing around it - as in it looks like it is being developed in the future.... no walking anywhere... continental bfast as expected, but a restaurant is a van ride away. Great stay, nice people, felt the lower cost gave us a nice break from all the expensive places we had to stay on our trip.

Room Tip: No view from our room, could "sort of" see the strip. Just a nice, easy, clean chain hot...

I spent 12 days in room 135 of this hotel in October 2012. Because I was in town for business, I didn't want to stay on the Strip. I had my doubts about staying so close the McCarran airport, it is, after all, right across the street, but I was pleasantly surprised.

The room was immaculate and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the linens were new and clean. The room had a Keurig coffee maker and the hotel supplied an ample amount of K-cups. I left a tip every other day when the room was made up with a note asking for a specific type of coffee, and it was always there, waiting for me when I returned from work. A nice perk that deserves mentioning for those staying for extended periods of time.

The room was mostly quiet. I was on the ground floor, furthest away from the airport. The only time I heard anything was when other guests would close their doors - the doors are incredibly heavy and loud enough to wake you in your sleep - and when businessmen would ramble in late at night. It's Vegas, people. That's just part of the landscape, not the fault of the hotel.

The wi-fi is free and fast (speed is room-dependent, I'm sure). The A/C kept the room very comfortable in the high-80 degree weather.

I didn't partake in the shuttle, but it runs every hour. Sign up at the front desk for free shuttle service to the Strip and airport. If you're travelling with a vehicle, parking is free.

The pool and spa were clean and, for the most part, unused. Everything about this location is comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a ground floor, or corner room if you are going to be in town for a long period of time.

New hotel not too far from Vegas Airport. Very clean and spacious, breakfast options good. Ten minute free shuttle ride. We didn't stay but one night but it was a good experience. Helpful and pleasant employees too

Was staying in Vegas for a canine competition & training venue. We stayed at this hotel because it was listed on the venue website. It was a pet friendly hotel and close enough to all locations. I found it to be a very nice hotel , considering it was very close to the airport. you can see the planes land and take off. In my opinion and I stress in my personal view I slept well with no distraction noise from airport. I had a room with a king size bed , which was very comfortable. The room was very clean and pleasant. They offered breakfast in the morning , was ok, cereal, bagels,waffles, very basic. Very dog friendly, a nice area for dogs to relieve themselfs. The hotel was minutes from the Las Vegas strip and easy access. They also offered a free shuttle to and from the strip.

We spent our last night of vacation here because the hotel was close to the airport, had a shuttle, and got good reviews on tripadvisor. When I checked in, I did not feel especially welcome. Exchange with the desk clerk consisted of "you reserved one king room, right?" (There was a discussion going on about free soda left by the delivery person.) I had to ask about the shuttle at that time and did reserve it for early the next morning. On many vacations we've turned in our rental car and gotten a ride back to the hotel on the hotel shuttle. Following that drill, we dropped off the car, took the rental car shuttle back to the airport, and called the hotel for their shuttle. I told the person answering the phone that we were at the airport, didn't know where to meet them, and could they pick us up. This was around 6pm, and the person on the phone told me they could pick us up at 7pm. That really wasn't acceptable. We were very tired at that point, so wound up taking a cab ride that cost us almost $20.00 to get back to the hotel -- driver didn't know where it was. Up to the room and the bathroom light burnt out. Maintenance came up with a light bulb, but discovered that the bathroom light was on the ceiling and would need a ladder. (How could this come as a surprise?) He came back with the ladder, took down the light fixture cover, and discovered he needed a different kind of bulb, only to return and say that there were no bulbs like that on hand, but we could be moved to another room. We said no, we would just stay there. A little while later, he was back with a bulb, put it in, light still didn't work. I just moved a lamp from the main room into the bathroom and didn't shower that night. I tried to order in dinner using the instructions by the phone. Guess what? The phone didn't work as described. So we went out walking. It was dark and creepy. The hotel is right next to a vacant lot. The walk to The Village Pub nearby was short and the food was ok. Next morning we were up early for the shuttle, downstairs around 3:30am. In the breakfast room there was a crockpot of sausage gravy that looked like it had been there for days and a couple of tubs of dirty dishes on a side table. Checkout was just as unfriendly as checkin had been. The shuttle to the airport was fine, though. There are only two elevators, and they are far away from some parts of the hotel. Last time in Vegas, we stayed at the Four Seasons, and I can't believe that this hotel ranks just below them. The halls are dark, the carpet looks worn, and desk staff are indifferent.

Well, not quite sure why this hotel gets such great reviews, maybe from the pilots & flight attendants since it is so convenient to the airport. I just didn't realize how close to one of the runways it was. You could still hear the planes up til about 11pm & then it started back up around 5am. They put triple pane glass in the windows but where our room was it just cannot block all the jet engine noise. For entertainment you can certainly watch the planes come in & land. It is a typical hotel, but on the plus side, the suite was very spacious & had a huge bath. Breakfast was fine, the usual fare & the front desk staff was very nice. Just be aware of how close to the airport it really is.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the other side of the property, not close to the street & the runway.
