I was looking for a good off-Strip location that would be relatively quick to eat at before a concert and I found this gem on TripAdvisor. There were three of us, and none of us have much experience with Greek food other than the occasional gyro or kabob, but we were willing to try things out.
We had a cold appetizer that was a spicy feta cheese blend that we ate with some warm bread. I wish I could remember the name of it, but it's all Greek to me. Ha! But it was quite tasty. My wife had a soup that looked like porridge, but it had a lot of rice, chicken and lemon in it. It was quite good. I had a bean soup and that was probably the least appealing thing we had during the evening. Not something I would ever order again.
For dinner my friend had two appetizers (spanakopita and falafel). None of us were very excited about either of those dishes, though it doesn't mean that they weren't the best of their kind in the world. They just didn't float our boat. I had lamb kebobs. Very good. My wife had dalmodes (sp?), which were grape leaves stuffed with various things. She thought it was delicious.
Oh, and let us not forget some fantastic Greek beer. Yeah!
Our server was very pleasant and helpful for us Greek food rookies. The atmosphere was very blue and white. It felt more like a deli than a restaurant. And it's in a strip mall, but who cares. That just makes it easier to get to. And since this is close to my wife's work I imagine we will be back again.
