Beautiful rooms, centrally located. There was a cold snap while we were there so we did not walk between hotels as we would usually. Automatic window shades are interesting, not sure how that would be if you want the curtains open and want to watch tv. Chaise in the bedroom, (we stayed in a 1-bdrm suite) was a lovely spot to recline and have a first coffee, lounge a minute after a bath, etc. Lovely large shower and wc both with privacy glass.

I thought the service, appearance and support from the Front Desk to housekeeping was excellent. The views from all of the rooms I stayed at over a 4 week period, were excellent. I thought there should be more Holiday festivities posted but there was a beautiful Christmas Tree in the Lobby.

I'm a Hilton Gold member who travels about 50% of the year for business--so when I had a few extra days to kill in Vegas, I figured this would be a good option. I was so wrong. First of all, despite the room's nice design and ceiling to floor windows (for an exceptional view), the room was falling apart. The edges of the carpet are fraying, the furniture looks banged up, screws are missing from the light fixtures (causing them to buzz annoyingly), and my bathtub was busted so you could see underneath it. Additionally, there were a lot of small things missing--no glasses were to be found in the bathroom, the room's only garbage can was in a small closet, and although there was a coffee maker, no coffee was in the room (maybe they want you to spend money downstairs). Not only that, but unlike every other hotel on the strip, valet parking here is an additional charge. The Internet was so slow during the day, that it made working from the room (something I have to do for my job) impossible--although at night the Internet remarkably had no problems (I bet they throttle it so you won't stay in your room). Finally, and most upsetting, the walls are thin and the neighbors in Vegas are loud. The first night I could hear every word of a conversation between my neighbor and his significant other--keeping me up for hours. If I were you, I would stay at the MGM Signature right around the corner--similarly priced with much better service and much nicer rooms. This hotel was a real disappointment.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Although we are going through and renovating our suites, our standard is to prepare your suite that is clean and in “like new” condition and I apologize that there were issues in your room. The Internet speed does stay the same and could be affected by the amount of guests that are on the internet. We do have Cat 5 cables that do help with the speed along with a complimentary business center and free wifi at our Starbucks. I am disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay with us and I will take your comments so that we can seek ways to constantly improve upon our Operation.

We have just returned from a trip to Vegas. We stayed at the Elara for 7 nights in a one bedroom suite and wow!!

When we got there we were asked if we wanted to upgrade to a higher floor for $20 extra a night. We were happy to pay that as the room rate was already quite inexpensive compared to other quality hotels in Vegas. We were so happy that we did. We were put on the 54th floor on the Paris side of the hotel. The view was absolutely incredible & worth every cent!

The facilities in the room were great, it was nice to have a full sized fridge so you could get water, beer etc from the ABC store in the mall attached. The room also had a large jacuzzi although this only worked sporadically. The large bathroom was great & my Husband particularly liked the blockout blinds which also turned into a projector screen in the lounge.

The location of the hotel was fantastic. It's right in the middle of the strip so central to everything & we really liked not having to walk through a casino to get to your room. The mall below was great for shopping, food & drinks.

Overall I would definitely recommend staying at the Elara, I know we certainly will be if we return to Vegas!

I got a great rate for a last minute stay on the Strip. The suite was huge - 2 rooms with a kitchenette and the biggest jacuzzi tub that I have seen! The location is fabulous, just 2 min walk to the guest part of the Strip around The Cosmopolitan and the Aria. Check in and out was fast and the have a 24 hour Starbucks in the lobby, not that you need it as this hotel is attached to the Miracle Mile shopping centre and Planet Hollywood hotel!

A great stay!

Elara is a great place to stay whilst visiting Vegas. It is a quiet, smoke free oasis in the middle of all the noisy action. The 1 bedroom suite was perfect for the 3 of us - very clean and ultra modern, wonderfully comfortable beds and a well set up kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful especially the concierge who directed us to the nearest supermarket. We especially chose accommodation with a kitchen so that we could self cater but there is no where close by to buy food!! So we had to jump in a taxi and drive about 5 min to the nearest supermarket where we were able to stock up on 3 days worth of healthy food. The $30 return taxi fare was worth it.

We had a fantastic time at this property. Appreciated the friendly staff & security guard stationed before the elevators. The location was perfect for getting to & from the strip. Check out the 24 hour Starbucks located inside & the Miracle Mile Shopping Mall attached to the hotel. Highly recommended hotel. Thank you!!
