“Excellent place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013

This has become my defacto hang-out in the Luxor. My first impression was that it was a fast-food joint (sorry, kind of has the appearance of a kiosk or ff joint) However, that is completely innaccurate. The staff are terrific and the food is really good, and I think, reasonably priced. I will be coming back.

“overrated and expensive”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013

spent 100 dollars on 4 of us for a regular mexican meal, and service was not good. Not sure if they were understaffed, but we were close to going in the back to find our own chips for the guacamole we got as an appetizer-our meal came out before the chips did. Expected the best margarita ever due to the name of the restaurant-they were not good, I can't make a margarita and can make a better one for this, certainly for 12 dollars. Food was good, just a long time coming and very expensive.

“Not our favorite part of our experience at the Luxor”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

The food was OK. Not our favorite part of our experience at the Luxor. The service was not very good, it seemed like our waitress was having a really rough night. Nothing seemed to be working for her.

“An excellent meal without complaint!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Had no problem with anything here. It was reasonably priced, service was good and the food was really tasty.

Sure it is not the most authentic of Mexican, but it is Vegas and amongst fake New York, fake Paris, fake Egypt, it is just fine to have some stylized Mexican-ish food.

As I said, it tasted good, the sauces were good, ingredients were good. All four of us were happy and that was good!

“Over priced and very average food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

Take it from someone who knows Mexican food, bred on it. It's not authentic, very expensive... even chips and salsa are not that tasty. How can you go wrong with chips and salsa? Portions very small. Ordered carne asada tacos, the staple of every Mexican place, not good at all! When you check in at Luxor they'll give you a coupon booklet, it has a 2 X 1 XX Beers. It's the only reason to visit this place.
