“Great Crawdads/Service Not so Great Wings”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

Hello
We stopped in to this restaurant on 02/26/13.
Service and Waitresses were awesome!
The wife had ordered 2 pounds of crawfish. Came with 1 corn and 1 potatoe. She loved the crawfish and ate every last one.
The corn was simply over cooked. Basically mush on a cob.(we had ordered 2 extra just butter)
We also ordered 6 pcs of sausage. Basically a dollar coin size of sausage. It seemed to be more a hotdog then sausage.
Now I would have given them a 4 rating but come on the Wings were crap. I would have to say there were the frozen breaded type that they just chucked into some hot oil. SInce I do not do seafood other then fish this is all there was other then chicken strips.
We ordered the cajun fries and they were tasty and spicy did enjoy those.

“Well worth the 45 minute walk from the strip!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

We saw hot and juicy on Man vs Food. As we happened to be travelling to Las Vegas and just love seafood, we couldn't wait to try it out. We decided to walk tneh 45 mins from the strip, along a freeway as the bus was very infrequent. We went past China town not realising there was a branch there too. When we arrived we were one hour early before opening as we forgot to adjust our watches to the time difference. So yes, we waited sitting on the side walk inside what looked like a little Chinese community of shops opposite.

You are probably asking yourselves if we were a little crazy to do all that. Perhaps but if you are a fresh seafood lover, you will understand our perseverance. The food was amazing. It arrived in a plastic bag so all the juices could continue to marinade as you eat. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful in making suggestions. The seafood is sold by weight. The snow crab and shrimp are a good option when crawfish is in low season as the latter tends to be smaller. Also there is mild, medium and very hot levels of juicy sauce. Forthe real deal, go all in for hot and juicy. We chose medium.

Be prepared to get your hands messy and use the bib otherwise your nice white shirt will be covered in orange hot and juicy sauce.

Great place to eat. Lots of atmosphere witb the locals and a nice break from the strip.

“It is an experience.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013 via mobile

We went here on a trip advisor recommendation and we were looking for something out of the box. We were not disappointed. Be prepared to get splashed and dirty. Seafood was ok and I would not make this a staple but fun to try. ( for me once)

“Seafood in the desert!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013 via mobile

At the suggestion of my husband who is a devout fan of Man vs. Food, we had to try this place. Hot & Juicy is seafood haven in the desert! Called at 8 on Saturday and learned of a 45 minute wait. They take no reservations. We were bummed because we just arrived to Vegas and were super hungry. However, we took out chances and arrived at 9:30. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated promptly. Prices and portions are good. The sauces can overwhelm you but don't fret, any choice you make will be good. The service is friendly and we enjoyed the H&J sauce Medium. Because we learned there is one in Washington, DC we will frequent this restaurant chain again.

“Amazing seafood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

I can't even think of adjectives to describe how awesome the seafood is here. Get ready to get down & dirty though. Food comes steamed and served in large plastic bags filled with spices and pure tasty goodness, complete with a bib! My husband can't get enough of the crawfish and I am a snow crab lover myself. I wait all year to come to Hot & Juicy when we go to an annual conference in Las Vegas and we always plan our meals out and come to Hot & Juicy TWO times!!! Waitstaff is very friendly and helpful...they are a real team and work together nicely. There are two locations on Spring Mountain Road because the place is so popular!
