“Excellent Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013

Stayed here last year for about a week . Start to finish it it went perfectly . Check in wasn't the fastest but that's the norm in Vegas . Got a room on the 37th floor . Entrance is the kitchen / dining area . Really nice . Then on to the sitting room and a dividing wall to the bedroom and the large bathroom . The place was spotless and the bed was very comfy . The window stretches the entire length of the room . They have electric shades . you lift the blackout one and then the shade one . Great views wherever you are . I looked onto the Bellagio and Caesars and a slight fountain view . If you don't have a car then its a good 15 minutes to get out . Walking out the front door takes you to Aria . Walk through there and you get out the strip that way OR do as I done and head to The Bellagio . Its all covered . Coming out of The Bellagio takes you to Planet Hollywood so you are RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE ! ! !

Room Tip: If you can get upgraded then try for a corner suite . Much bigger . BUT normal rooms are large too s...

We are not gamblers and not overly enamored of the glitz and glitter of Vegas. My wife was in Vegas for a conference and I tagged along. We were given an incredible suite with spectacular views of the Strip and the surrounding sceneray for as far as the eye could see. What was particularly great about the Vdara is that there are no casinos within the hotel. The service and comfort was impeccable and the spa was incredible. This is a great launch pad for restaurants and shows. If we return we will certainly stay here!

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Vdara. The hotel itself was gorgeous and located right in the middle of everything. It was so nice to stay at a hotel in the middle of the Strip and not have to deal with all the cigarette smoke, casinos and crowds of tourists. After a long day visiting the sites of the Strip, it was always so nice to go back to the calm and tranquil Vdara. Our room was amazing and probably one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in. We were located on the 53rd floor in a deluxe suite that faced the Bellagio fountains and the Strip. The room was a very nice size and had plenty of room for storage. Beds were super comfy and the bathroom was huge! Three windows covered the entire back wall of the room and the push button shades were definitely a nice touch. The hotel staff was great and very accommodating.
If I had to come up with some negatives, I would say the room did not have a coffee pot and the lack of restaurants in the hotel. Not a huge deal about the restaurants b/c there are PLENTY to choose from in the surrounding hotels, but the coffee pot is a necessity for me! I would absolutely love to stay here again and I would recommend this hotel to everybody.

Room Tip: Arrive early and ask for a high room facing the Bellagio fountains.

My family spent 5 nights in 3 rooms at this hotel last month and found very little to fault. The rooms were excellent and the staff were very attentive. We noticed that a couple of items were missing from a fridge in one of the rooms so I reported it to staff. They assured me that I wouldnt be charged - and I wasnt. They also helped me source a stretch limo to take us to a restaurant . for my wifes birthday. I had asked 2 months before our visit for a room overlooking the Bellegio's fountains and received exactly what I had asked for. If anything, this felt like a better visit than our original one 2 years ago when the hotel first opened. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel (which has no casino) for its location (in the middle of the Strip) and for the reasonable cost of the rooms.

Room Tip: Ask for one overlooking the Bellagio fountains if you want to see them.

We stayed for a week, the room, location and counter staff were ex ellent. The view of Bellagio fountain was fab as was our view of the thunderstorms. The free tram between Vdara and Bellagio is very handy for Aria/Crystals and Monte Carlo. Valet parking was also great. The only thing letting it down was the housekeeping roulette we played, you have to call them for kitchen utensils then guess what will turn up and what will remain or be added by the next member of housekeeping. We went from eating muesli out of bowls with a teaspoon to out of a cup with a dessert spoon. It didn't affect our stay but really should be sorted. I was also surpised there was no kettle available. We tried to get coffee from the poolside bar a couple of times but the staff there were nowhere to be seen. Lovely hotel without a casino in a great location.

What a fantastic place, the staff were great and helpful, our rooms were spotless, quiet and very spacious.
I just wanted to take the bed home with me, it was so comfy.
The pool although a little on the small side was lovely and never to busy but it is a little heat trap so be warned.
There is a hairdryer hidden in one of the bathroom draws and iron and ironing bored in the suite as well.
If you ask for dressing gown and slippers they will bring them up promptly as well as anything else you may require such as cutlery plates etc
It just seems that nothing is to much trouble.
Very much recommended.

Room Tip: If you can't get a room with the view of the fountains ask for a pool view room as that is very...

We stayed here for four nights in July 13.
The Vdara is pleasant enough, it's clean and the staff are great but as a Vegas hotel it's a little boring. Most hotels in the area have themes and as soon as you enter you are surrounded by slot machines but not here. If the hotel were elsewhere e.g. London or New York then it would have hit 4/5 but I found it a little disappointing for Vegas.

Dear H0dgie,

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback. We are disappointed to know your recent stay fell short of your expectations.
