“Very Impressed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2011

We have just returned from a 6 night stay at the Mandarin. We are very familiar with the Mandarin chain in Asia and the Vegas property does not disappoint. Clean, modern rooms, excellent service, great strip views, large washrooms, etc. Better yet, got a very good deal on Expedia. Really liked the ability to play hard in Vegas at the casinos and then return each night to the oasis of calm that is the Mandarin. No drunken 20-somethings here. Location is in the center of everything. If you are tired of long check-in lines with millions of tourists roaming around (like the Wynn or Bellagio), then highly recommend the Mandarin. Only downside was our horrible experience at their signature restaurant, Twist. Eat elsewhere.

Selected hotel for client meeting as it did not have the distraction of a casino and was non-smoking. Easy walking distance to casinos for night diversions. Rooms were in excellent condition and delighted clients for cleanliness, superior staff response and spaciousness. Meeting support was good, food was healthy. Only drawback was the business center's fee for copying documents.

We stayed recently 5 nights at the beautiful Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas. We couldn't be more happier of our choice. The rooms are outstanding. As a younger traveller I really give value for all the high technology they provided in the room. Automatic lighting, curtains etc. but especially the sound system! You can plug in your own laptop to TV and play your music with real speakers and there's even a subwoofer too!

Bed's are amazing, view to the strip from our 17th floor room and away from all the gambling but still close to everything. Service was excellent except on the last morning when the "hostess" lady were missing from the breakfast:) Pool area was excellent where they serve free water and some cooling refreshments during the sunbathing. Fitness center is a big plus too though it should be open later than 8 pm. Overall one of the greatest hotel experiences ever!

The only place to stay in Vegas. Service amazing. You walk in the front door to peace and quiet. Has no Casino which means quiet and no Smoking. To be able to breathe the air is the ultimate. Vegas is very backward and has smoking everywhere. To see little kids having to walk through other casinos to get to hotel breathing in the smoke. MGM was the worst for that. We had a corner suite with the special third night free it made it the same price as other rooms. Loved the Master switch on the wall that closed all the curtains and turned off all the lights. The TV built into the bathroom mirror was fun. Even Rose petals on towel in bath tub.

Room Tip: Third night free offer on Suites

My wife and I spent three nights at the Mandarin Oriental and greatly enjoyed our stay. The property is outstanding, extremely well staffed and provides many nice touches that ensure an excellent experience. We plan on returning.

We enjoyed a 60 minute massage and having experienced many spas around the world, the spa at Mandarin Oriental is amongst the best we have enjoyed. I left my wedding ring and college ring inside a pocket in the robe. I called the hotel and they put out an all points bulletin for these sentimental items and I was delighted the next day when security called and returned the rings to our room. The pool area is A++++! Staff is plentiful to handle any needs (towels, food, drink), food is very good and venue and overall vibe is stellar.

Courtesy car/limo are available for free for transport to points of interest within 3 miles of the hotel, which covered all areas we visited.

Overall this is an elegant hotel that lives up to all the hype. Value was decent as we stayed on Zen City package (pay for two nights and get the 3rd night free).

Can't wait to go back!
