I can't say enough good things about our experience at the Graceland Wedding Chapel. For our 20th anniversary we wanted to renew our vows with Elvis. I researched every chapel in Las Vegas, and quite frankly, I was amazed at how many are run-down and overpriced -- especially one you add on the Elvis part.. Once word got out that we were going to do an Elvis vow renewal several friends decided to fly in and join us so we booked the Graceland Chapel because they could accomodate 20 people and it didn't cost anything additional. Many of the chapels offer a $199 vow renewal/$249 wedding, but if you have more that 4-6 guests you ahve to upgrade to their next "package". I also liked that they let me bring my own bouquet of flowers. We didn't think we would want the $60 DVD of the ceremony -- but they told us we could decide after the ceremony because the record all of them just in case. Very nice touch. Of course we ended up buying it and it is worth every penny! The photographer took GREAT photos. They were available for viewing online within 24 hours -- but I didn't read the ordering instructions on the card carefully (I would have received about $3 off of EACH PICTURE) if I had read it. He tried to tell me when he handed me the card but I was too giddy and didn't pay attention. In any case -- the photos were well worth the money, and I liked that I had a choice to order by the photo and didn't have to buy a set package or decide ahead of time like at most chapels. The Chapel also recommeded hiring a Party Bus to bring us from our hotel to the Chapel and out for the evening vs. multiple cabs. This is also what made the event so memorable. We went from the Chapel to the Fremont Street Experience downtown -- he dropped us off at one end and picked us up an hour later at the other end -- then took us on a tour down the strip while we danced to party music on the bus (and drank our wine & beer that we were able to bring onboard). We all got out for a group picture at the Welcome to Las Vegas sign, then headed back up to our hotel (The Venetian). GREAT FUN and worth every penny (cheaper than multiple cabs and way more fun.
