This was just my second time in Vegas, and first time staying on the Strip. Chose this hotel at the advice of a friend who's got more experience than I did, and it was a great choice. The Red Room Luxury room was large, comfortable, and colorful. All that we were hoping for. My wife was very comfortable - probably much more so than she might have been in a fancier hotel for what we would've gotten for the same amount of money. We chose not to upgrade for $50 a night to a room that would've had a view of the Strip, deciding that was too much. My only regret with that is that we would have had a better view of the Bellagio fountain show - one of the biggest and best free attractions in Vegas, I think. Overall the hotel was clean, not excessively smoky (in those areas where you can smoke), and had a decent variety of food options. I was told the Stratosphere was a better view of the Strip than the Eiffel Tower, but after going up in the tower (free with the coupons we got from the hotel), I disagree - the view from the Eiffel Tower (which is half as tall as the original) was great!

The buffet (Le Village) was very good - key tip: pay the extra $5 to jump the line via the Express Lane. We lucked out - we missed this sign when we first got in line, and I only saw it when I went to take pictures of how long the line was. We saved maybe an hour and a half that way. Yeah - those lines are no joke.

The huge Pina Colada in the plastic Eiffel Towers are fun, but be careful! 3-4 Pina Coladas' worth of sugar (and brain freeze) will take a toll!

Being in the middle of the strip was great. We could walk to the shops at the Venetian and Caesar's, cab it to Mandalay Bay easily, and walk right across the street to see "O" at the Bellagio (which was fabulous). Another key attribute of Paris - it's not nearly as vast as some of the other properties on the Strip (Bellagio, Caesar's, MGM Grand, and the Venetian), so it won't take you 20 minutes to walk from your room to the front door. Walking through a hotel isn't like truding through a swamp, of course, but after you've been walking a few miles going around the Stirp already, it's nice to be able to get to your room fast once you're back to home base.

Didn't go up to the Eiffel Tower restaurant, but heard they've got great souffles.

I stayed at the Paris Las Vegas October 28-Nov 1, 2009. It was lovely and romantic. The food in the restaurants was delicious. It was a little pricey, but not too high. They have a lovely restaurant that you take an elevator upstairs and it overlooks the fountains of Bellagio and another one where you can eat outside on the porch on the Las Vegas strip. The Paris Las Vegas hotel is made up like a movie set of Paris, France with a ceiling painted light blue with white clouds like a daytime sky. It's beautiful and great for a romantic stay. We arrived on a Wed at 10:15PM and had no wait time to check in. We checked out at the front desk on Mon at 10:45AM and had no wait time. I've read other reviews where people had to wait, but I guess we came at a good time. You can go up in the Eiffel Tower for $10 per person and take pictures. If you want internet in your room, it is $15 per day. If you want a refrigerator, it is also $15 per day. We had a mini bar in our room that was refrigerated and had a small amount of space for food if you have left-overs from the restaurant. There is no charge for the mini bar unless you take something out of it. From the ad, I thought all the rooms had whirlpool bathtubs, but they don't. Our tub was separate from our shower, but the tub was not a whirlpool. The whirlpool tub was a $50 per day upcharge, so we didn't get one. The Paris is centrally located on the strip (across from Bellagio), which is a bonus because you do so much walking in Las Vegas. Paris is a little fancier and pricier than Bally's, Harrah's or Imperial Palace, but it's not as pricey as Venetian or Bellagio. We stayed 5 nights at Paris and 1 night at Imperial Palace. Imperial Palace is not fancy, it's just basic. Our TV picture was fuzzy at Imperial Palace and we had plastic glasses. I have champagne taste on a beer budget, so the Paris suited me. We paid $470 for 5 nights at Paris before tax. I would stay there again because it's nice, clean and pretty and not as expensive as Bellagio or Venetian. There is nothing wrong with staying at the cheaper hotels in Vegas if that's all you can afford, but if you can afford Paris Las Vegas, I recommend it. If you can only afford a cheaper hotel, I would stay in Bally's, Harrah's or Imperial Palace. I wouldn't stay at Hooter's because their casino is ugly and they are too far away from the center of the strip. I also wouldn't stay at Circus Circus or Stratosphere because they are too far from the center of the strip. If you stay at Hooters, Circus Circus or Stratosphere, you will spend too much in taxi fares in my opinion. I usually try to stay toward the center of the strip for convenience sake. Paris is a nice hotel and I would stay there again. I highly recommend the "O" Watershow at Bellagio. Also, make sure your suitcase doesn't weigh more than 50 lbs or you will get an overweight bag fee if you are flying. Carry-on bags are limited to 40 lbs and certain size and liquid limitations. Bring tennis shoes because you will walk, walk, walk. You can print your return boarding passes at the business traveler's center in Paris. We paid $3.50 per person for our boarding passes and we had one layover on the way home.

Stayed 5 nights at the Paris hotel in Las Vegas this past July. This was the 1st trip to Vegas for my husband & I. We really loved our stay. The Paris hotel is quite beautiful. Loved the high painted ceilings in the casino. Our room was very nice. The view wasn't great, but we didn't care. Housekeeping was immaculate (at least on our floor) and I am very particular. The buffet for breakfast was really good. We really liked the half-priced martini bar that they had every night in the casino. The location of the hotel is perfect. Right in the middle of the strip. Take the free shuttle & go to Rio hotel one night. Lots of fun over there also. I highly reccommend the Paris, Las Vegas hotel.

Experience was poor from check in to check out. This supposed luxury hotel was far from luxurious. Food was over priced and blah. $4 for a bottle of ice tea.....highway robbers. Need to learn customer service, room maintenance and basic hotel skills
