“Quite a change”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

First time staying at Paris and I wonder why I didn't stay there sooner. I've been vacationing in Las Vegas, twice a year for the past 12 years and have always stayed at Harrahs. After some dissapointing issues at Harrahs last March, I decided thast it was time for a change. I had read the reviews of Paris and was kind of skeptical to stay there but took a chance.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms, although pretty standard are extremely comfortable. Every night, I fell into bed and slept great. Very comfy beds....I went to the buffet for breakfast...outstanding...the coffee shop another day for breakfast...service was a little slow but the food was great. I had a crepe for lunch one day, delish, and frequented the pastry shop often for late night snacks. Never dissapointed! The staff was kind, caring and welcoming. Check in and check out were a breeze.

I love the location of Paris. Planet Hollywood and all the shops are so close. When I needed to get out of the casino, that is where I headed.

THe machines were the same as everywhere....not alot of winning to be had, at Paris or any where else.

I would highly recommend a stay at Paris and I know for sure that I will be staying there again on my next trip.

We were hesitated to book Paris casino at very beginning, since, some bad reviews.

But, it turned out very good. Great location, clean, nice shower room and bath tub. I really do not know what people was complaining. And, the lady at the front desk gave us a room with great great view to see the strip.

The only thing I do not like, long waiting line for buffet and pricey. so, we bought a 24 hours buffet deal, that allows us to try different buffet at few casinos. And, the buffet at Rio is the best among those choices.

I came to Paris for a conference and was so disappointed by the property. The front desk staff was just rude - really rude. Even though the rooms were ready, they charged a fee to get in before check in time and, depending on who you asked, that fee varied. The concierge was unaware of events occurring in their own hotel. The room was small and somewhat run down. I'm not a gambler but we wandered through several of the casinos in the surrounding hotels - Paris was absolutely the smokiest /smelliest in the area. High points were some of the servers in the restaurants and bars as well as at the Spa. Other than that, I wouldn't bother with Paris.

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Location is great within walking distance to food and shopping. Check-in was fast though we were charged a $15 early check-in fee. Check-out was quick too. The lobby of this hotel is beautiful. I expected more from the room but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only noise we heard was the slamming of doors from the hallway. We got a room on the very end of the hotel on the 16th floor with 2 windows, room was much bigger than the other rooms on that same floor which was nice. The hotel pool area was clean and gave great views of the Eiffel Tower, they also have 2 hot tubs, which we would've never found if we hadn't overheard someone else asking if they had them, they are kind of hidden off, but are on the pool level. Concierge was great they booked us 2 day trips and answered questions we had about the trips. Overall we had a great stay here and would stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view.

We have just returned from our trip to the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, it was ok, room we had was 1226, which overlooked the car park, not what we had booked, but it was ok for the amount of time we were in the room. We had a fridge in our room so that was good, we had taken a travel kettle, and some cornflakes and coffee etc with us, you can buy milk, water etc from the local Walgreens drug store, so we had breakfast in our room, we also bought sandwiches for lunch time in the same supermarket, it saves on the cost, cos eating out is very expensive, it was a fantastic trip, enjoyed it all, the hotels were spectacular, the Bellagio was fantastic with the fountain display going off every half hour, Caesars Palace was out of this world, the best part for us was the Grand Canyon Tour, we went through a good tour company called the 5 star helicopters.com, a new company which we felt didn't rip us off, the driver picks you up from your hotel and takes you to the heliport, then you get the helicopter out to the canyon, our pilot was Captain Mike, a really nice man, who told you exactly what you would see, he didn't let us down, the flight was fantastic, worth every penny we paid, so would recommend this company. It's easier to book all trips when you are there. Food is expensive along the strip, some buffet meals are 44 dollars for all you can eat, but further down the strip you can get the same meal for 24 dollars, we ate at the Outback and Planet Hollywood, they were a better value, drinks are very expensive on the strip, but we got some beers and some wine from Walgreens and had a drink before we went out in the evening. Everyone expects a tip, so that can be expensive, but beware when you arrive at the airport, we got ripped off by the taxi driver who charged us 35 dollars to take us to the Paris Hotel, it should have been around 15 - 17 dollars, so check with the driver what it will cost you, and dont tell them it's your first time in vegas.
cos that's when they will take advantage and take you the long way round, baring in mind the airport is about 10 - 15 minutes to the strip. All in all it was expensive, a one off trip, but worth it to see everything in Las Vegas and of course the Grand Canyon. We went in November, the weather was warm during the day but chilly at night, so you do need to take a jacket for the evening. You can get the bus to downtown Vegas, Freemont street, really good down there, a lot cheaper, entertainment going on all the time, the light show is fantastic, well worth a visit.
All in all an AWESOME trip, as they say in the states.

We have just returned from a 5 nights stay at the Paris. Booked the entire trip with Travelocity. Got very good rates especially this time of year. My husband and I loved the Paris, beautifully themed resort, very large and attractive, superb dining venues- enjoyed Mon Ami Gabi. The deluxe room was spacious, very clean, well appointed, perfect for us. Not much of a view but this didn't matter to us. Enjoyed the pool and hot tubs although closing at 4 pm is way too early, we (and many other guests) thought. Be warned that there is a 15$ fee for early check-in. We opted to visit around and come back at 3 pm for regular check-in. The entire staff (except for our receptionist) is very courteous and helpful. The location can't be beat, right across the Bellagio and its beautiful fountains.
PS. The only reason I do not rate 5 star is the early check-in fee, our receptionist, and there is need of some furniture upgrading - (stained and tired room chairs). Otherwise, I HIGHLY recommend this resort and would not hesitate to return.

We had a three night stay here with the family, including two teenage daughters. Great center-strip location, easy walking distance everywhere. Also, this was the first time in Las Vegas where we actually got the connecting rooms we requested at early check-in. Friendly front desk staff.

One thing to note: the Caeser's group of properties (Caeser's, Paris, Flamingo, Harrah's, Bally's, Rio, etc) do not automatically tack on a resort fee for every room, every day (like the MGM-Mirage properties do). However, they do charge fees for everything else, including $15 for early check in, $15/25 per day for WiFi (depending on in-room or entire property), $25 for one day fitness/spa access, telephone calls, etc. So, be prepared. Luckily, our rate was super cheap in November before Thanksgiving.

Clean comfortable rooms with great beds. Newish LCD HDTV's. Spacious bathrooms with separate tubs & shower stalls. Decent closet/drawer storage space. Good thermostats. Good fitness/spa facilities. Housekeeping service was unobtrusive and thorough. Casino small (compared to local competition) but adequate for us.

Another tip: get the Total Rewards card even if you don't gamble, it gives you small discounts at restaurants on-property.

Breakfast buffet had average food, a long line to get in (but was not overcrowded as a result), and poor service. We also ate a breakfast at the Sugar Factory which was quite good. Mon Ami Gabi is great for ambiance and people watching. Great crepes at the dedicated creperie. We ate all of dinners out.

We didn't see "Jersey Boys", but it has gotten good reviews. We did do the Eiffel Tower: spectacular views on a clear day.

Overall, I would stay here again, keeping the above in mind.
