We stayed 3 nights at Bally's in late July. The location is great, centrally located and just across from Caesar's. Currently there's construction out front, they are building a grand new entrance, but for the moment it's a bit of a pain to get to the front door.

We tipped the check-in person $20 and requested a room in the Jubilee Tower. He gave us a very nice room, on the 72nd floor of the Jubilee Tower. Odd numbered rooms look out over Paris and the south Strip, which we thought was a great view. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was great, and the bed was comfortable. There was even a very small coffee maker in the room, something you don't see in every Vegas hotel room. There's a small fridge and a safe, but no mini bar.

Elevators are incredibly slow! Most of the time, it would take a full 3 to 4 minutes for the elevator to arrive. Also, there's a resort fee of $22.50 for each day of your stay. We never checked out the pool area so that was money wasted for us.

There is wi-fi if you go down to the casino and stand right next to the poker room. That was the only place we could find free wifi in the whole building.

Taxi to the airport was $14 -- as cheap as the shuttle and a whole lot easier.

Bally's is a nice clean affordable hotel in the middle of the strip. You are able to walk to any of the other casinos if you choose to. There are many restaurants and eateries you can choose from at Bally's plus Bally's is connected to Paris which gives you more choices. There is also a shuttle bus to the Rio.

I really enjoyed my stay at Bally's. The rooms were clean, the cleaning staff were very accommodating and the location is excellent. It's located right in the middle of the Las Vegas strip. The food in the restaurant down in the casino was very good taste wise and the priced reasonably. The only complaint I have is that it was difficult to get drink service while gambling. I also heard that they started charging a resort fee which sucks. When we went in 2011 there was no resort fee. I guess that's just the way it is with all the hotels on the strip. I would still recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nosh is the best for overall breakfast and lunch. Bally's is what I would call my home away from home. The rooms are comfortable. The service people on the casino floor are friendly. The housekeeping stay is very friendly. Always there witha smile and good morning.

We have been long time guests. We participate in the Rewards program and have received very good benefits. Many of the employees have become close to us over the years and remember us from visit to visit. The location is such that we are not stuck at one location and can move to various other casinos such as Paris, Ceasors, Flamingo, etc. but, we spend most of our time at Bally's. The breakfast buffet at the cafe is a very good value.
