“Nice hotel and good location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

My wife and I stayed here for the 5th time in September of 2012. Stayed in a South Tower classic room. The room was very clean. The hotel staff is always friendly and helpful. Upon check-in, we asked for foam pillows because my wife is allergic to the feather pillows. The lady at the front desk took the request and said that it shouldn't be a problem. We were up to the room about 10 minutes after checking in and the foam pillows were already delivered. The location of this hotel is right in the center of the strip and is connected to the Paris. The Blu Pool is fantastic! We were never packed in like sardines as we were at other hotels and the waitresses were great. Will definitely be back.

Has a good casino and pool but a very long walk to get to the pool. Can use some more restaurants. Still love the classic shows. Nice location on the strip with access to everything as well as a stop for the monorail. Rooms need an upgrade but ok.

Bally's isn't a hellhole by any means, but it's far from a destination. We wound up there because we had points to stay in the hotel. Positives: The rooms are large and the beds are comfy. I got the best night's sleep (two nights, actually) that I've had in a very long time. I didn't wake up in the middle of the night at all except to use the bathroom. Negatives: The carpet had things in it and didn't look too clean. Positive regarding that: I called downstairs, and they shampooed it the next day. That was nice. Back to negatives: The automatic checkout on the TV didn't work, so we had to go downstairs, and it took forever. Also, the room needs a remodel, but if I had the choice of a remodel and a refurbish, I'd pick the latter. And when you ask for a no-smoking room, be sure you get one!

Service: less than average
Room: would have been fine except for the heating that made the room exceptionally dry
Location: great
Staff: Front desk was rude and impatient despite no line
Price: reasonable, except for room service or in-house baristas
Casino: below average
Offers: average
Parking: Awefully far all the way through Paris hotel. Better stay at Paris for the same location and better access. We did not know they are the same at the time of booking

The lobbies seriously need updating.

I chose this casino for the location and the price. I didn't know what to expect of the rooms, however they were pleasantly clean and extremely reasonable in price...$40 including tax. I booked directly through the hotel (sometimes it is easier to get an upgrade). The rooms are large, and in need of a facelift....but better than some rooms I have stayed in Las Vegas. The bathrooms were fine, towels were plentiful, shower worked just fine...usual amenities. The room was quiet, so I really can't ask for much more given the pricepoint.

I didn't use any of the hotel facilities or do any gambling, but people seemed fairly friendly. I prefer this location to many others in town, as it is centrally located to some of the newer, more interesting casino/resorts. It was nice to stay here and walk to the south end of the strip and back...enjoying a few drinks and snacks along the way. I understand that the North Towers have been remodeled, and I was going to ask for an upgrade if I didn't care for my assigned room...it didn't seem worth the effort or the $15 to move rooms. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay here based on my experience.

Just returned from four days in Vegas. Spacious room, clean and comfortable. Decor dated but not a problem. Our room had the Eiffel Towel right outside our window, and we could see the Bellagio fountains. Good price for weekdays. Easy walk to Bellagio, Caesar's, Flamingo, Paris and Planet Hollywood. Bus stop for downtown right in front of Paris. $12.00 cab fare back to airport, slightly more to hotel because of airport tax. $2 margaritas in Tequila Bar and a gigantic plate of nachos that would feed about 8 people!! Completely comfortable stay. Unless you are looking for something super-spectacular, would highly recommend this to everyone.

Bally's is convenient to most everything on the strip and is very reasonably priced but you get what you pay for as the rooms are a little outdated. We were there on business and spent very little time in the room so it was ok for a place to sleep. The ceilings are low in the casino so it was very smokey. The restaurants were just ok. They charge $22 per day per person if you want to use the fitness center and $13.99 for internet in the room but no resort fee and parking is free.
