AVOID at all costs. It was so bad we actually walked out an hour into the show and we were not the only ones walking out. In one sentence ... "Believe that its terrible". We were so dissapointed that we wasted our time in Vegas sitting there for that hour.

I'm a big fan of Criss's "MindFreak" TV show (which is why I went to see this show) ... but he lost me as a fan after this one. The magic tricks in the show are so hokey (e.g. pulling out doves from his sleeve). Its like watching a magician performing at a kids birthday party. And, unfortunately, you can see his sleight of hand which makes it even worse. That combined with his name being inserted into the act every 20 secs or so made it very tedious, this entire show is an ode to his very big ego.

And what in the world has happened to Cirque? All they do is sets of some kind of post-modern dance wearing rabbit costumes. None of the amazing acrobatics or choreography that they built their name on. I didn't pay top dollar to see Cirque members in full rabbit costumes hopping across stage and cuddling with the other stage actors. At times it felt like I was watching Sesame Street. We were so furious to having spent all that money on something so terrible. Its embarassing really that a Vegas show could be this bad.

Believe that this show will fail and will be pulled in the next month or two.
I would not waste my time on this show even if they were giving free tickets ..... yes, its THAT bad.

Save your money for the slots.

This show is a joke, I cannot BELIEVE this show will be around much longer once the word gets out of how bad it really is.

Too bad because I do like Criss Angle show Mind Freak

I have not been a big follower of Criss Angel but do love a good magic show and had heard great things about his Mindfreak show. I love the music and artistry of Cirque so I thought this would be a great combination. Unfortunately I was very wrong and now $200 poorer with not much to show for it.

The biggest problem I see is that it disappoints both sides of the audience. Those who are Criss Angel fans are only treated to basic slight of hand an poorly executed trap door stunts (I'm pretty sure we're not supposed to see the apparatus used to make him levitate or exit). Certainly "nothing you've never seen before." Those hoping for a good Cirque show are also disappointed with basic wire tricks and good costuming. I enjoyed the music and dancing but that was about it.

In addition I believe it's fatal flaw is that Criss Angel is just a poor actor and I'm not sure how you can help that when the show is built around him. His ad lib is cheesy and distracts from the show. The "loyals" in the beginning also felt horribly staged. If nothing else, please cut the singing at the end. It just serves to solidify his narcissism and make for a horribly awkward ending.

I really had high hopes for this show and wished for it to succeed but it honestly looks like it has too much to overcome to have a good run. See O or Mystere instead.

I attended the 10/14 Criss Angel show at the Luxor. I purposely did not read any reviews before the show and "believed" that after seeing KA that this could in no way be the elementary show it was.

I am very surprised that Cirque decided to put their name on this show. Did they see it? It has sub-par dancing at best that could be seen anywhere in Vegas and nothing spectacular. It seems they thought Criss Angels name alone could carry this and they were dead wrong. Criss has a fantastic show on A&E, but he may not have the charisma to carry this show. Unnecessary swearing (and I curse like a sailor), bloody rabbits, bad acting and poorly timed bad jokes made me cringe for the cast. I sat 11 rows up and could see how some of the few magic tricks performed were done. People were leaving half way through. The ending was horrible and I started to think of bad manufactured pop idols.

Good points: The theatre decor was amazing the sound was great.

This show would be better off without the dancing and more audience participation, which is what Criss does best.

Yikes, go see KA.
