“Nice, far from Strip”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

I chose to stay off the strip this time and chose to stay here due to the rave reviews. I was a little disappointed but some was my fault. A previous review stated a Euro feel and that is 100% correct, had that feel. I got a single and it is a very small room. I had a car so didn't mind the drive but a cab ride to and from the Strip is expensive. Plus, taxi's don't like to drive out to Summerlin so that can be an issue. This is a great hotel if you don't need the strip and want some quiet. Summerlin is a beautiful area. But if you plan to do the Strip more than once, I would chose somewhere else.

Very pleasant modern hotel that has a Scandinavian/European feel to it. In fact, my room was incredibly similar to a Hilton I recently stayed at in Helsinki Finland, all be it without the in room private sauna. But I digress... Apart from its location I could not fault this hotel, it was close to being my favorite hotel of the trip, but it was pipped at the post by another Starwood Group hotel, the very swanky and comfortable Westin at Lake Las Vegas. Both of these hotels run rings around the massive, soulless casino hotels found on The Strip and are well worth a visit. Elements was a little hard to locate as it did not appear on my SatNav (GPS), but if you type in these numbers your GPS will be able to take you straight there. N36.12207 degrees `and W115.32452 degrees. You can even use those coordinates to look at the hotel on Google Earth before you travel. I was on business, but this hotel would also suit anybody on vacation. The pool is small, but personally I liked that as it was never packed full of noisy children. Breakfast is included in the price of this hotel and not bad at all. Would I go back? Sure, but only if I couldn't get a room at the Westin Lake Las Vegas, which is my latest favorite hotel.

Room Tip: As for a room away from the freeway if you are a light sleeper

My first ever stay at an Element. I'm surprised how much I liked it. Room super clean, built for business traveler. Great use of space, nice desk, and best of all the Heavenly Bed. Free breakfast, Internet, parking. Very reasonable rates. Small but nice pool if you can bear the heat. Very green hotel... As in Eco friendly. Want to avoid casinos, drunk tourists, and waiting in the heat for the valet to bring you your car? This the spot. Excellent front desk personnel, gave me late check out and acted happy to do so.
I will definitely stay here for my Vegas business trips.

If you want to stay near LV but not in the craziness of LV, stay at this Hotel. It has a sustainable mission too. Everything is renewable and clean. If you have an EV this place has a EV station,
I liked the lobby and the way the front desk treats their guests.

Green Features: They have used renewable materials in the hotel. They also do not use excess electricity in the hallways.

1-bedroom apartment which suits perfectly any Vegas visitor, be it pleasure or business.
Located right by the freeway, it offers quick access to any destination, while being in a very quiet and pleasant location. Nearby park is handy.
Very good and varied breakfast to start your day.
Impressive Wi-Fi quality.

Clean, bright, airy. Service is excellent. Rooms are spacious. Lobby and common areas are pleasant. Breakfast is limited but decent. Pool is very small. Soundproofing could be better on the freeway side. Overall a good value. I'm glad I stayed here.

Room Tip: Freeway side is nice and bright, but you can hear the traffic at night.

This property sets an inviting tone from the warm front desk welcome to the contemporary decor and wall of windows lobby/lving room which opens to a landscaped outdoor seating area. The elevators are fast and often stand with doors open. The guest rooms are super functional, the full kitchen is stocked with clean, new dishes and cookware which makes meal preparation a reality if desired. The Heavenly Bed may have a few too many feathers for hot, desert days, but is cloudlike in comfort. Although the property is somewhat institutional in appearance and partly surrounded by parking, the pool area is private and pleasant with plenty of furniture, clean towels and two cabanas.
As guests we appreciated the recycling bins in room, the quality of breakfast offerings, the bicycles to borrow, the feeling of comfort and utility in the guestrooms which are ingeniously designed as mini-condos with sleeping/living/office/kitchen areas defined and usable as such.
This location is superb for exploring the Red Rock Canyon, for cycling, and is a quick, easy commute to the Strip. A very large neighborhood park just a block away features a Farmer's Market weekly as well as a great greenspace.

Room Tip: We enjoyed the freeway side which had long distance views of the mountains toward the red rocks wild...
