“Not worth it”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2011

This resort is a little more than a mile from strip. The shuttle service has limited hours and does not guarantee pick up. The rooms do not have jacuzzi or hot tubs. The hot tub by the indoor pool was broken. Also fees for everything. For example it is a full kitchen but they charge for soap, dish soap, laundry soap and maid service. Not worth it

My family and I just travelled to Las Vegas from Dec 1 to Dec 7 and I must say I was very surprised by how spacious and nice the rooms and resort is.

First off, the resort is very close to the airport, only about a $20 cab ride which is so fantastic and convenient. The staff was so friendly when we arrived and right when we entered the bell bot (I really wish I remembered his name cause he was fantastic) grabbed our bags and showed us to our room providing us with great tips and suggestions on what to do when in vegas. When we entered our rooms they were huge, looked so new and clean, and fit our entire family of 6 perfectly! The beds are comfy and the pull out couches are the best a pull out bed could be. The only thing which depended on which side of Vegas you are facing are the airplanes. They can be really loud at night so that is something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper.

Although this resort is off of the strip it isn't very far at all. Being active people who enjoy exercise, taking a 10 minute walk to the strip was no problem! Also, you are only a 10 minute walk from the Thomas Mack Centre (Where the NFR took place) so there was no need to spend money on a taxi. Now, if you want to go somewhere farther up on the strip or to the mall I would strongly suggest walking to MGM to get a taxi. When we did need a taxi it took a long time. Rosie Tarin, the bell service lady was so helpful and continuously tried to call for the taxis however, it is no ones fault at the resort for them not to come. To get Taxis at MGM is much faster, however, be prepared for long line-ups! Also, the bus/shuttle that comes to the resort is a great price, however, they make so many stops for people which is time consuming. If you want to get somewhere quickly I would suggest just getting a taxi.

Overall, my experience at the Bluegreen Club 36 Resort was awesome. The gym is great, pool and hot tub is fabulous, spa is fantastic, and the overall staff was so friendly and helpful! I would definitely take my family back anytime!!

This place was far off the strip. They have a shuttle that leaves on the hour once an hour, for being off the strip so far you would think that they would offer a shuttle more than once an hour. So if you miss it you are screwed. Taxis don't come by very often and I had to wait at least 20 min. for one to show up. The hotel is very close to the airport and the planes are very loud flying over the hotel. Couldn't get connect to the internet. They said they had their IT working on it. It never did work the time I was there.

Just returned from Las Vegas while staying at Bluegreen Club 36. This place is wonderful. Clean, new, great sized rooms---definitely a 'at home' kind of place. It is located off of the strip but has a shuttle that drops you off on the strip. Worked out great. To get a ride back from the strip by taxi it will run you around $10. The front desk ladies were VERY kind and welcoming. It also has an Einstein Bagel, ABC store and a few other places located right next to it. One drawback was that it was located next to the airport. Planes continuously were flying over head. I would take the noise of jets to stay here though. It is just so nice and clean.

We were promised a 90 minute sales presentation by bluegreen when we purchased at Bass Pro Shop. Sales presentation lasted over 3 hours even after we brought a completed ebay auction showing that contract with12,000 annual points can be purchased for $2.25 on ebay (no joke-contracts resell for practically free because maintanence fees are over $1000 per year! Might as well rent a nice hotel room for that price and save the $32,000 and 17% finance charge). Property is far from the strip and at the base of a runway so loud planes fly overhead. We had a walkway 5 feet from our first floor bedroom. Walls were super thin and we could hear our neighbors talking, flushing toilets, doing dishes etc. Cheap bed with a poor quality bedspread. Internet connection is super slow.

We stayed at Planet Hollywood for $75 and had a much nicer room than the tiny one bedroom "Villa" at bluegreen. If you do stay at Club 36, request an A room (not B room which is much smaller).

On the positive side, the property is clean, well maintained, and the staff are friendly.

We stayed at Club 36 for four nights. We had a handicap 2 bedroom suite on the first floor facing the strip. When we first entered our room I couldn't believe how spacious, clean our suite was. A two bedroom suite are two rooms one a studio and another is a one bedroom suite with connecting doors. These rooms had a washer and dryer and plenty of kitchen amenities. What really was great was the fact that there is an ABC store, Pizza, Grilled Burger and a Subway right on the same property. They also have a very nice indoor jacuzzi and pool with a large bar. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: The airport is nearby so ask for rooms facing the strip you won't here the airplanes as much.

Some parts of this property are great - we had a large suite, complete with washer/dryer, kitchen and separate bed and bath areas. The two things that stand out, and the reasons we won't return, are that our room was directly under the flight path of the nearby airport, and the bed was horrible. Flights start taking off at about 5:00 in the morning and they about rattle you out of bed. I've never seen such flat pillows in my life. The good can't make up for the bad here. The hotel shuttle only runs to the strip until 8:00 pm at night (in Las Vegas!) and you definitely don't want to walk there, it's much farther than two blocks away. And then you get the slimy sales pitch for the time share (they say you can "say no and part as friends" but that's hardly the case). If this is the best Bluegreen can do, you couldn't pay me to stay in one of their properties again.
