“Fantastic rooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013 via mobile

We arrived quite late and check in seemed to take forever, staff fine but bit robotic and don't go out of their way to make u feel welcome. Room was fantastic and very clean. Most of restaurants expensive, we ate elsewhere most nights although used the all you can eat buffet place a few times for breakfast. XS nightclub so busy it was ridiculous & I didn't really enjoy although the pool was cool, preferred Hyde at the Bellagio. Whole place very clean and felt very safe. The nicest most helpful staff were the guys that checked your key cards when you were going to rooms & the guy outside controlling the taxi rank/pick up - He called a company for us and sorted things out when they didn't turn up to collect us.

First off I will be clear that the Encore Hotel is a great property, the staff is wonderful and we really like the hotel. We had a Panoramic King Suite which was large and beautiful and my kids had an adjoining suite which the check in guy made happen without a hitch. The small problems were a broken bedside lamp and a mirror in the bathroom that did not work. The biggest in-room issue was an odor in the bathroom that I can only describe as a cross between mildew and the rodeo which seemed to be the worst after the shower had been used. None of this is enough to keep us from going back to the Encore. We enjoyed our stay and will stay here again. Here is the BIG thing. Do not book a stay in Las Vegas during the "Electric Daisy Carnival" unless you want to be bombarded by the filthiest, loudest, and rudest group of 18-25 year olds who ever gather for anything. This is not the crazy Vegas crowd we all know, love and accept when we go to Las Vegas. These people are awful. The Encore staff did everything they could to corral this bunch and I commend them for their efforts but it is too much. I swear everywhere we went this week the EDC crowd was the topic of conversation. Fair warning. Check your dates first.

Our recent stay at the Encore (6/22-6/26/13) was absolutely Outstanding!!! We booked a tower king suite and quickly upgraded to a salon suite at a reasonable cost considering these suites can sell for up to $2,000 a night - the best decision we could have made, this room was spectacular and screamed luxury and pampering!!!

I came to Vegas to celebrate my 40th birthday with my husband and friends who also upgraded to a salon suite and we have raved about the quality and attention to detail this hotel offered. We had turn down service every evening - a nice touch when returning to your room after being out enjoying Vegas all day, in room breakfast for two included in the package with various options to choose from, an assortment of birthday chocolates delivered by the staff, ice buckets filled abd complimentary water every day,I could go on and on...in short food and service combined were excellent! The staff at this hotel were friendly, knowledgeable and made sure our stay every day was enjoyable---hands down everyone who works here exceeded my expectations!!! The best birthday getaway/celebration ever! I can't wait to get back to stay at this property, absolutely, positively loved it!!!! Kudos to everyone who works here to make the guest experience memorable and pleasurable! Great job, many thanks Wynn/Encore!

The best stay I've had in Vegas in my (short) life. We usually stay at Caesars and feel pretty loyal to them, but since they were booked, we looked elsewhere and were pleased at the great rates the Encore had for what ended up being a bigger room than we were looking for. Overall, the staff is friendly, but particularly with housekeeping, it was a wrestle to get our room cleaned and turned down. The rest of the stay exceeded our expectations with the gaming (Tip: sign up for the Red Card, you won't regret it), the restaurants, and the location near some surprising sites in the center/north end of the strip. I had a lot of fun and will definitely be coming back soon.

The Encore is a smaller add-on property connected to the Wynn casino. It's got it's own separate tower, casino, pools, restaurants, and parking, though everything is shared, and the walk to the Wynn is quite short. As such, it's a lot less busy than the Wynn, and that can be either good or bad, depending on what you're looking for. From check-in, service here is polite, friendly, and very courteous. That's something that sets this place apart is that the staff here are all very very nice. The rooms are also gorgeous. I stayed in 32-32, which had a strip-view, and views of the Wynn tower and wide variety of gorgeous pools (Encore beach club and XS too...). The only downside is that those two clubs generate a huge amount of noise, and even 32 floors up, thumping bass beats could be heard in my room well past 3am (on a Monday!). So... if you're looking for something quiet, forgo the strip view, and get a rear facing room, or something much higher up.

Room Tip: Higher and/or non-strip view rooms should avoid noise from XS club.

We booked through Amex Platinum Fine Hotels and Resorts. We were told the room upgrade was not available for us and given a room on the 8th floor of Tower Suites. This room overlooked the Beach Club. Unfortunately for us, Friday- Sunday the Beach Club is a "nightclub" during the day with loud rap music and djs. Our room was actually vibrating. I immediately called the front desk and requested a higher floor and was told nothing else was available. Needless to say this ruined our entire stay. I expected a luxury property- the property itself is beautiful and very well maintained. Sadly, the Beach Club attracts a drunken disorderly crowd that roamed the hotel and casino. I saw drunk girls barely able to stand being carried by just as drunk men. Several times inappropriate and vulgar remarks were made to me by these drunken men. It was shocking. There was plenty of security- they just stood by the walls and did nothing. The first day housekeeping never cleaned our room- despite 3 calls. One morning our breakfast that was promised in 30 minutes took 1.5 hours and the order was incorrect. Very unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Hospitality and service needs a major overhaul. The Spa was wonderful, and we enjoyed our meals at Society and Tableau. We also dined at Lakeside- it was just average with poor service and very expensive for the quality of food.

Room Tip: Do NOT book a low floor room overlooking the Beach Club- terrible loud music!!!!

This our second time staying at the Encore after a sabbatical from Vegas for about 4 years. This is one of the most luxurious hotels we have ever stayed in that doesn't break the bank. The hotel amenities are also nominally priced. However, the room service and items in the mini fridge in the room are priced to discourage any purchases. I guess they are trying to encourage guests to patronize the neighboring convenience stores -- which is nice of them. You are able to request a complimentary medical refrigerator for your room. The rooms have the latest in technological comforts making it feel all the more luxurious. The pool areas are serene and comfortable. The European pool area is extremely nice with a full bar area in middle of pool. All employees were extremely polite and helpful.

The casino area leaves a bit to be desired for the slot machines but is okay for the other tables. I don't consider the casino to be a magnet for gamblers which is alright by me as it allows for a more low traffic experience. I didn't have very good luck either of the times on the slots.

Room Tip: Get a room higher than 30 to have a great view. The side with the pool gives you a view of the Wynn...
