“AVERAGE STAY”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

My girlfriend and I made a weekend trip out to Las Vegas, and I decided to stay at the Marriott instead of a hotel on the strip. I can't say that anything stood out to me about this particular hotel except for the fact that the whole property consists of suites. You can definitely tell the room are due for some kind of updating and hopefully soon. The furniture was from the 1990's and the bathroom appeared very old. The sheets that housekeeping placed on the mattress appeared not to fit being too small. I also didn't really like the jack and jill bathroom that was there. Being a gold member, they provided breakfast for free which included the buffet, which was a plus.

Overall, the hotel was average. Nothing really stands out to me to make me recommend this hotel or not recommend this hotel to a friend traveling to the area.

Room Tip: Get a room above the 5th floor if your room will be facing the parking garage otherwise people in th...

We stayed here one night before staying on the strip the rest of the trip. Check in was fast, we got free wifi for being a platinum member (otherwise internet is $12.95), parking was relatively ample with a lot in the front and a garage in the back, and the overall hotel was nice. I believe most of the hotel is suite style, and it was very updated, which was unexpected. It is about a quarter mile off Las Vegas blvd and there is a Denny's, Walgreens and several other places just up the road. It would be a nice little walk, but since we rented a car we just drove it. If you are looking for a place to stay off the strip but still close enough to see it, this hotel has great views of the strip from a distance as well! I have no complaints. It was a good hotel for what we needed it for, and actually exceeded expectations.

I always enjoy staying at this hotel as checking-in and out is a lot faster and easier than strip hotels. The rooms are very large with a nice sitting area. There's not a lounge for frequent Marriott Rewards members but the restaurant worked out fine. I prefer the location as it's close to the strip and not on the Strip. This hotel is not good for folks without a vehicle. Vegas sites are short driving distances, not walking distances.

The only reason this property didn't get the full five stars is the smoke smells from the ventilation. During my last two visits I had to close the bathroom door so the smoke smells don't linger into the bedroom. I hope management levies heavy smoking fines to curb this behavior.

I will be back as this hotel is becoming my Las Vegas home.

I can't say enough nice things about this hotel. My fiancee and I drove 900 miles to Las Vegas to elope. The staff was very nice, helpful and went out of their way to make it an experience to remember. The bartender even suggested a wonderful place to eat dinner. It was perfectly romantic and unforgettable. That is what I call service! The room was great and the food was wonderful! (they even sent a bottle of champagne up to our room to celebrate our wedding!). Great place to stay with a great price. We were central to everything and very convenient to all the attractions in Vegas, then a safe, quiet area to rest and "detox" after a wonderful adventure. Thank you so much for a great memory and time!

Room Tip: The lobby bar was great with very friendly staff. Take their advice on suggestions of what to do an...

We stayed at this hotel because we didn't want to pay a fortune at the bigger ones on the strip. But at the same time we didn't want to stay at a shady motel. This turned out to be the perfect option. It is within walking distance to the Wynn. The rate was reasonable. We stayed in a room that had a king and sofa bed. The bathroom was my favorite part very relaxing. Room service was good too.The front desk staff could have been nicer but overall it was a great stay.

It was a last minute reservation for the New Years celebration and we got the best room that is available I'm sure. Room 511 has a great view of the parking lot and the Las Vegas Hotel and among other hotels.
The room is perfectly set up for a business stay. This hotel is perfect for the non demanding guest who just wants a nice room for the night. There are no Kardasians look alike or wannabes here, just simple normal folks. The location is minutes of walking distance if your health permits it. I don't mind the room because we are not the "high rollers" couple.
