This was our first trip to Vegas and we were staying at Treasure Island so visiting here not only made sense but saved us some money as we had a two for one coupon given to us by the front desk at check-in.
As others have mentioned, the line to get in can be quite long but moves quickly depending on what time of day it is. We spent about 15 minutes in line which wasn't at all disappointing.
I took advantage of the 'All you Can Drink' option which kept me imbibing a very nice Ale for most of the evening.
This being our first 'Las Vegas Buffet' we were a little overwhelmed by the options available to us. Our server was kind enough to let us know where everything is and then set us loose.
My wife is quite picky about the meat she'll eat whereas I will eat pretty much anything that once had a heartbeat. The quality of the chicken was high enough that she tried it without complaint. I quickly grabbed a plate full of pulled pork, roast beef, turkey and was not disappointed.
As the night progressed, I realized I was drunk and had to slow down my consumption of proteins. Hitting the dessert table, I had so many choices that were freshly made and sweet that I was slightly confused. The lovely woman behind the counter was kind enough to guide me into some truly delicious choices and for that I'm grateful.
The food quality seemed quite high for what we thought was going to be a 'trough'-like experience. Reading through some of these other reviews, perhaps our standards were low since this was the first buffet we ever had.
We'll probably try other buffets at different hotels if we go back but as a worst case scenario, we would have NO qualms about going back to the TI Buffet.
