We stayed at FeatherDanse for four nights. It was a welcome escape from the craziness of the Strip. The room was comfortable, the breakfasts delicious, and the hosts charming and considerate. We had some wonderful conversations around the breakfast table. The lovely pool area out back was a pleasant place to read and soak up some sun. My husband and I weren't particularly interested in the casino scene, and Kay and Nash were knowledgable about the "other Vegas." They gave us good (non-casino) restaurant recommendations, information about the huge, pan-Asian "Chinatown" that's walking distance from the house, and tips about nearby state parks. I recommend FeatherDanse without reservation.

Feather Danse was a welcoming home at the end of the day. Our room was lovely and comfortable. Our hosts were delightful, considerate, helpful and friendly. When we return to Las Vegas, Feather Danse will be where we want to stay!

I haven´t stayed at feather Danse yet.This is what I found on the website today:
"FeatherDanse is not allowed by recent city zoning ordinance to operate as a Bed and Breakfast. No short term accomodations are legal in Las Vegas if they are within a 35 mile radius of the convention center. The policy essentially constrains Las Vegas visitors to stay at a Casino/Hotel."
You may list yourself as a"Friend" and stay there ...

“A great, relaxing oasis in Vegas...”

After a long drive, we wanted to stop in Las Vegas without being caught up in too much of "Vegas". We found FeatherDanse through Tripadvisor and booked over the phone. It was perfect. Kay-Marie and Nash perfectly fit into their roles as hosts welcoming you into their home. Our bed was super comfy, allowing us to recharge and relax. Their suggestions on navigating around the strip and finding a place to eat were spot on. They know Las Vegas, allowing us to sample Vegas without being overwhelmed by it. A perfect place for those who want to visit Las Vegas without staying at a Casino.

“great alternative to casinos”

We went to Las Vegas to see some shows but didn't want to gamble or stay in the big casinos so we sought out a more peaceful option. This B&B is a wonderful alternative to the chaos and noise of the strip. The food, company (including our hosts and fellow guests), and accommodations were all exceptional. During the day, we hung out at the backyard pool, which provided a great escape from the high heat and a quiet place to read. Kay-Marie and Nash are meticulous hosts and great conversationalists to boot.
